Mikus, I was thinking we’re been fortunate with the way the fixtures have been put together of late. The Fa Cup tie certainly helped being at home.

PSG sacked Tuchel and rushed to appoint Pochettino, they have backed him to their limit, they have given him all the tools to succeed, the best young player in the world (Mpabe), the most expensive player in the world ( Neymar), the best player in the world (Messi). And yet the guy cannot deliver?

This Real Madrid team is the same team that we beat last season, yet they destroyed PSG today. And Pochetinno was claiming Chelsea is a defensive team to have a dig at Tuchel.😊

Indeed young blue, replacing Tuchel with Pochettino after Tuchel had got PSG to a CL final (and then winning it with Chelsea) looks a pretty disastrous decision.

Man Utd just seem to be stuck in second gear. They show glimpses of something more but it never fully materialises. Too many years of players getting away with average/poor performances with no consequences? I think Rangnick has probably sensed this but has no other option but to work with them until the end of the season as best he can (though he maybe isn’t the kind of person to exude the authority needed in that dressing room).

I’m sure the English clubs will be hoping for Benfica or Villareal. I’d even take Atletico Madrid as they are not as good as they were a year or two ago and we’ve already beaten them home and away. Can see one huge draw happening, like City versus Bayern or something like that. Hope I haven’t jinxed it for Liverpool!
