Not quite Sean, if you get through you get to play in two leg knockout competition which obviously will hamper your league performance in second half of the season, but if you go all the way and win it you get a place in the eeuropa eague group stages next season! That’s right no play offs or anything, just straight in! 😉

Just looking at the group, rennes lead with 11 points, spurs and vitesse have 7 points and fc mura have 3 with one final game each.

spurs play rennes and vitesse almost certain to beat mura so spurs will have to beat rennes to qualify from the group.

what would be worse, qualifying from the group and having to play in knockout rounds in the new year, or going out at group stages in a third tier European comp which allows teams ranked 341st to compete in it? 🤔
