Take that all day long. Should have won by more but winning the group with two games to spare is excellent .

Ya, Suarez didnt celebrate the goal and was still booed off. each to their own but I don’t like that TBH.
Suarez has impulse control problems but besides that, I don’t think he’s that bad a guy. Even if you disagree with me, and that’s fine BTW, Im in the minority for sure, he was such an incredible player for us. His antics with Barca have not gone down well (and rightly so) but the muted celebration should have been respected and it wasnt.

As for how things have gone for us in this CL group. I was really unhappy with the draw, so Im shocked to see us through after 4 games. The non-Liverpool fans wont understand why and that’s fine, they dont watch us week in and out, didnt watch us against AM in our previous games. So, they wont realise how good this has been for us.
The defence was better tonight, I think. The protection of them certainly was. Firmino getting injured is a problem but hopefully it was precautionary, as I think he’s been good this season. Salah not QUITE there tonight but was still very good at times. I felt he was forcing it and that was really the only obstacle for him, he’s still incredible. Mane was very good in the 45 he played, he had a spring in his step. Fully support Klopp’s decision to take him off when he did, he was close to getting sent off.
The red card was weird but I’ve always been annoyed about players who refuse refs orders. seen it many times before, never seen a ref actually punish someone for it though. Im noticing that we’re seeing players crowding refs again though, which needs to go. not talking about tonight, was just something Ive seen this season. They need to clamp down hard on lack of respect incidents for refs. I’d bring in a blue card for them, send them off for 10 mins. No need to ruin a game but a strong punishment.
Why do no such cards exist? Would make the game so much better.

Sean, very proud of Tsimikas. He didn’t exactly get a chance now did he but when one came along, he sure grabbed it. I think this was a failing of Klopp, to not see that he had a fairly decent player there that he could utilize. Nobody is perfect but luckily for us this Tsimkas lad is made of stern stuff and stuck around long enough to earn his dues. Robertson will always start ahead of him but we’ve got a very good backup option, who I would not groan about seeing on the starting line-up.

Saurez is saurez mak. Our fans are upset with him because of his behaviour in the cl semi final few years ago but so what. Donβt like the booing myself as he was a top player for us but the reality is, you will always dislike saurez unless he plays for you
I never took to saurez like I did Torres, Alonso and a few others. Heβs just not a likeable character but what a footballer. I wanted him gone when he was trying to go to Arsenal. Rodgers handkerchief that well but I fully supported him when that saga ended and he started to bang the goals in

Don’t think I’ve ever been looking forward to team announcemnet, let alone the game, than I am right now…
Going to guess Don Conte will go with a 3-5-2 and stick my neck out for the below line-up, as we really do need win all 3 remianing games:
GK Lloris
Dire, Romero, Sanchez
Royal, Lo Cecil, Hodge-Podge, N-Dumb, Reggie
Son, KaneOf course, there might be Docherty for Royal, and possibly Tanganga for Sanchez, but we’ll see soon enuff!!

Mak, you hit it on the nail mate with Suarez about him being impulsive. I personally don’t dislike the guy at all and my like for him has never changed even though he doesn’t play for us.
Torres will be loved and regarded more as he’s not involved in playing the game. Suarez is competitive edge to him which is what made him a fantastic player.
Sean, definitely mate. Rodgers managed him really well which is a credit to him – never forget 13/14.
Anyway all history now. 5 Star joining a few other teams in winning 4 out of 4. We can go for more of rest our players when the time comes. The focus on the league now.

Started with a 3-4.-3 rather than 3-5-2… no Cecil or N-Dumb, plenty of width but not a lot of creativity in the middle of the park with Skipp (surprised about that!) and Hodge-Podge at CM’s… and Son missed a great chance already… does seem to be a bit more zip about them though…

Banjo that’s a good sign, when he played 343 with us we won 30 out of 38 and were champs. Next season it was 532 and we finished 5th π

As for lack if creativity in middle, our pairing under him was matic and kante, he needs these players to provide balance more than creativity. It’s your front 3 and wing backs will need to provide and score
