Banjo, as much as I wish spurs nothing but perennial mediocrity, I love you to bits you sexy sod, you alone are worth visiting this site for, and because of that I am delighted for you today mate, even though Im gutted with it myself. I know you are very anxious about this and don’t think Jose should have been appointed, but the more I think about this, the more I think it is a superb appointment. The spurs vid I just posted should excite you mate. Many of the arguments against are very valid, but its worth it imo.
I think its best to use an analogy that fits pretty well given our respective allegiances. Have you ever been in a toxic relationship with a crazy girl who just happens to be gorgeous and out of this world between the sheets? You know it will have to end eventually for the sake of your own mental health, and I understand that’s what is concerning you now, but the point of this analogy is to take your mind off that and get you excited about the 18 months of amazing sex you are about to have! I know, I used to date her,… twice…She likes to be called Filho Da Puta by the way. Filho knows how to make you love her, and you will love her.

20th November 2019 at 10:11 pm #53431Always reading nine, but hate posting on phone and usually only post when Im home on lap top, which is rarer lately. Would have taken the time last match day but didnt want to get caught up in all that nonsense, I respect how you always rise above it, but I often fail to, so best I stay away when the personal abuse starts getting thrown about

20th November 2019 at 10:26 pm #53432ed, and considering banjo’s dating history he will appreciate her even more than I did, I mean ms poch was kinda cute, but tina sherwood? Harrietta rednapp? He even went with Andrea Villas Boas when she was on the rebound from me!

20th November 2019 at 10:40 pm #53434Totally agree regards jose’s achievements with inter and porto Ed. How many champions leagues has pep won without messi? Zero is the answer, the special one won it twice with underdogs

21st November 2019 at 6:40 am #53445There is a lot of hypocrisy towards Mourinho. when he was at Chelsea winning league titles. many said let him go and prove himself with a club who has a small budget. today he went to a club with a small budget, but people are criticising him already.

21st November 2019 at 8:09 am #53456Chelsea.man, that’s it. This is Jose’s biggest challenge. He is not taking over one of the top 2/3 teams in the league mate.
Spurs haven’t won anything major for years. It’s going to be really interesting to see how he gets on
People say it’s a good squad but at least 5 players want out. Can he get them to sign new contracts?
If it’s the Jose we saw at utd then he’s doomed. His horrible press conferences and his battering of his own players.
Let’s be honest he has a net spend off 320m at utd and they still need to spend another 200m on top of the 150 they spent in the summer as he left such a bad squad. He left utd in bits and people are forgetting that
Oh it’s great when he comes. Gives people a lift. Might get a trophy but it’s the way he leaves that’s the problem

21st November 2019 at 8:11 am #53458AnonymousSean’s entitled to his opinion, especially since he’s onky saying Chelsea are better than Leicester. Not like he’s said leicester are no good.i agree, chelsea are better but i still think leicester are in with a shot of a title race.
I should be hoping for a draw this weekend between city and chelsea but I’d prefer a title race versus this exciting lampard side. They are better than people realize and will beat City.

21st November 2019 at 8:14 am #53459Chelsea man. I despise Jose as a manager. Doesn’t matter who he manages to me. He’s so bitter. It’s akways everyone else’s fault but him. He puts his own players down in interviews and that’s just wrong. He can be very very nasty
I like him as a pundit. He’s one of the best managers of all time. I was very concerned when he went to utd but his spell there tells me he’s not the manager he was and his tactics are out dated.
His 6 at the back in the big games ie bus parking worked years ago.
He pushes the full backs in and pushes the wide men back to full backs. It’s horrible to watch
I may be wrong. I think this will all end in tears as usual and can’t see him
And levy getting onJust my opinion

That’s it in a nutshell. Not a lot to add to that.

21st November 2019 at 8:25 am #53463Mourinho took those Chelsea players to the next level. forget about Mourinho the person and focus Mourinho the coach. he is an upgrade to Pochattino that is a reality.

21st November 2019 at 8:32 am #53464One for the flat-earthers among you…
Did Bale already know about this and waved that silly flag about as a bit of a “come-and-get-me”?
Couple of FB’s to tighten up the defense, and Bale running amok with Kane, Son, Ali, Moura up top with the gruesome-twosome anchoring midfield? Sounds pretty decent to me! Am I converting myself? Can dogs look up?

21st November 2019 at 8:46 am #53467Credit to Jose for joining the Sky Sports panel.
Now we will see if he has taken anything from becoming a pundit and looking at his previous failings (mainly player management and updating his own tactics) and being able to have players still on side in 3 years time…

21st November 2019 at 11:32 am #53484Realistically, Levy’s unlikely to untie the Purse Strings – there’s a new Stadia to pay for, but what intrigues me is historically, Jose’s ‘lifespan’ at any given club usually lasts up to 3 years.
Somewhere down the line, something goes wrong, yet Levy then would have to pay him out.
I wonder if there’s a clause somewhere – more still, I don’t think Jose’s pulling power is as strong as he himself might believe.
