Sry. Nine that was a test and ya.. we’re basically secure. I mean, I think functionality to turn off email forwarding of the messages can be done. It doesn’t bother me but everyone is different.

but don’t worry me old chum, I only rant about 97 points to Liverpool fans! You know, when they are all down and out after our awful season just gone (RELAX GUYS JUST LIGHT BANTER 😛 ).

I’m just glad it isn’t giving away our email addresses, the amount of unsolicited crap we’d get as a result would be nuts.

Turned off private messaging until I can be sure this kind of thing won’t happen.

Just to be clear, nobody’s email addresses are made public or shared with anyone. You get an internal message when someone PMs you and it is set to send you a notification to the email you registered with, to make sure you don’t miss it.

To be honest, it’s probably not all that useful as a feature anyway. I’ll continue to try to get it working but if anyone wants any emails forwarding to another poster in the meantime, let me know at editor@footydebate.com

Good of 3ps to raise this. I didn’t even know about the feature existing re Private Messaging. It actually filters through to your personal mailbox to alert that you’ve received a message.
