It is interesting isn’t it that the likes of Mourinho & Benitez are just not sought after by the big clubs anymore. The nature of their football & man management in the era of expansive football & big egos just don’t really go together.

Whilst Chelsea supporters continue to give Rafa grief because they simply don’t like him, this was his result of being our Manager – pass mark? I guess that being the case a club like Everton may be a good fit. They might just win something one day.
The Spaniard took Chelsea to a third-place finish, won the Europa League and got to semi-finals in both domestic cups. For 10 days, Chelsea held both European trophies after becoming only the fourth club to lift every European honour.

Chuky…how about Sam Alladyce, Neil Warnock. managers who manage with little funds….Spurs are running out of candidates….OR….just keeping the guy you have. I think you will kick off the season by beating us in the first match then it all goes downhill because Levy thinks he will have proven a point

Spurs should go for that guy whose he in charge of Atlanta, his done miracles with a small budget and as someone mentioned a while back he plays an attacking brand of football, I don’t know cause I only seen them play in bits on highlights but that’s the facts.

I do not understand what all the bother is about by both sets of Liverpool fans. The guy is a good Manager, wants a job, applied for it and got it. I think he will do well given the support any new Manager needs. OK, I understand he was once on the other side of the City…..but that is not unique by any means, not long ago we had a UNITED player managing us. As to the remarks alleged to have been made , the need is for pragmatism and get a manager who can do a job for you and he can

If Benitez can ride the storm with the fans at the beginning he’ll do a decent job at Everton. If he gets Everton consistently winning football games and challenging for a CL place the fans will get behind him all football fans are fickle.

Brian, to be honest most of the anger of Rafa being appointed is from Everton fans. Liverpool legend. Contributed massively to the city through charities and Hillsborough. He loves the city as shown by his family still living there 17 years after he arrived . His legacy wonβt be tarnished by the majority of Liverpool fans in my view.
Good start by keeping big dunc on. Heβs not the manager he was in my opinion. Everton had other choices that were much less controversial. Makes no sense to me and will end in tears. Love the man. Best of luck to him
