Going by athletic there was serious thoughts of sacking him. Trophy saved him. Id say sweetest trophy for utd in a long time. Defo one to savour
Trophies change minds and clear most want him to stay now. Id have kept him. Absolutely huge to get that fa cup. Alls fans want is trophies. Now he has to start well and be supported by the owners.
Not sure ratcliffe and ineos at all. They handled this very badly.

Agree with all that Sean. It was terribly managed. I think in fairness to Ineos, though, they never intended to be making this kind of decision themselves. The people they’re putting in place to manage these things going forward are still on gardening leave, which I think helps explain the uncertainty. That’s my hope anyway. It certainly sounded like Ten Hag was a goner before the cup final. It doesn’t change much for me though. If he doesn’t get off to a flyer, he’ll be gone pretty sharpish.
