Eddy, that’s what the commentator said, that was Rashford’s first start of the year… you telling me Maureen was saving him just for this game (and then took him off cause he was tired?)?

10th March 2018 at 3:06 pm #17610My boys ain’t playing Alfie, and for some reason those mugs who run the channels always play your boys.
So, just to be clear, MacTuppyPuppy has played 2 (that’s one more than 1, which is a whopping one more than none?) games and now Maureen is an expert on youff? You lot make me larff! π

10th March 2018 at 3:09 pm #17611AnonymousOh, you now change the criteria! Itβs now the commentator who said it. Sure you posted:
What are you talking about? ? Rashford getting his first chance of the year? Or MacTippyTappyWhatever?
Chance is not the same as start. Unless you put your blinkers on.

10th March 2018 at 3:10 pm #17612AnonymousAnd did the commentator also tell you McTominay has played twice? Thatβs one more than one, but plenty less than the truth?
Every other week you come out with this nonsense!

10th March 2018 at 3:10 pm #17613Oh it’s just that you said first chance, which is very different from first start…
I’m not sure what you mean in your second point. Are you suggesting Mourinho was forced into playing him? You really badly want to seem to portray Jose as not giving youngsters a chance mate! Rashford started and showed Mourinho was right to start him. Not sure what more there is to it. If he didn’t trust Rashford, he could have played a number of other players.

10th March 2018 at 3:14 pm #17614What a game of 2 halves[lol],but really! United were brilliant in the 1st half, tore Liverpool to shreds and should have scored a couple more goals. The 2nd half Liverpool had to come out and attack, and I felt like Rashford was going to be sent off.A great OG by Bailly but we held on! Sanchez was very poor today, and as for Fellaini, well, the less said the better.

10th March 2018 at 3:14 pm #17615You pedantic assholes!!! π First start, first chance, first game, whatever… and it was Steady Eddy who started it on this particular thread…
Okay, I’ll concede, Rashford gets one game, MacTipTapToe has played 3 whole games, Maureen is so into youff he should be a priest…

10th March 2018 at 3:17 pm #17616Banjo-
For someone who is known not to give a youngster a chance, he is certainly doing that with McTominay. He could have just took with Pogba and Matc, yet since the turn of the year has played all 3 most games. He could have gone out and spent 100m on a new midfielder after Fellaini injury, but opted to stick by McTominay. McTominay has played 17 times since October and has started the last 6 games. Say what you like about Jose, he certainly has given him a chance to prove himself.

10th March 2018 at 3:19 pm #17617There are two things that are difficult to argue with:.
1)Mourinho historically is more trusting of established players.
2) United historically have been the best at bringing players through all the way back to Sir Matt and on a minutes played basis this season their young players have played more minutes than any other clubs young players.
I thought both Rashford and Mctominay were excellent today and thoroughly justified their selection

10th March 2018 at 3:21 pm #17618Wasn’t Poch forced in to playing Kane because Soldado, Adebayor and Dempsey were flops. Cannot been seen giving youth a chance considering that is the case.

10th March 2018 at 3:25 pm #17622AnonymousBanjo – itβs you with your petty, biased-led criteria, which constantly changes, who tries to form the narrative of what is considered giving youth a chance. And if you didnβt try to score points by keeping up with the trolling, no one would need to point out that you are wrong. If that upsets you, stop trolling. Simple.
Solskjaer – 17 games? Canβt be! Chucky said twice?

10th March 2018 at 3:40 pm #17625Why’s everybody getting so edgy.
It was a really good game United bossed the first half and could easily have been 3 nil up through Mata. Liverpool came back into it strongly in the 2nd half but United stayed strong. Two young home developed United players played today and were outstanding.
Jose’s history suggests he tends to trust established players more but he played two bright young United players today and there’s no arguing with the fact that United have been the best at bringing young players through all the way back to Sir Matt and United’s young players have played more minutes than anyone else’s.
Everyone likes to see their own come through and become regular starters but you still only get 3 points for a win.?
