I’m not a Fellaini fan to be honest Jim but there are few more effective players to bring on in games like this. Gives you a completely new dimension to the game at corners, free kicks, crosses into the box etc. He’s definitely not one for the football snobs!

Damage done by Rashford early doors of the second half which we really couldn’t do about, but felt a lot more encouraged by our second half display.
We needed really a game changer and trying to cause penetration through packed bodies was always going to be a tough battle for us.
5 points behind, so United gain a foothold, but I’m pleased we still have only lost 4 games all season. I think Man City can help us out when they face United, but as far as our remaining fixtures go, only Chelsea on the last day to worry about. All the rest effectively should be straight-forward and there for the taking.

United took their chances. And Mouriniho’s bus tactics squashed liverpools play. Young had a good game. But I didn’t think it was a great game to be honest not many chances. To be fair Felaini did do a job ed. Nice to watch a game deciding the first losers spot with no pressure at allβΊ ?. Looking forward to DeBryne, Sane, Sterling Silva x2 and Aguero ripping into that United bus in three weeks time.
