This could get tricky for Utd with Henderson. Very similar to the Cech/Courtois situation at Chelsea a while back.
Huge call to replace De Gea with Henderson but an equally huge call to let a rival snap him up. Henderson simply won’t come back to play second fiddle.

21st July 2020 at 2:21 pm #132584AnonymousI’d cash in ed. I dont think De Gea has been the same layer since Courtouis signed for Real Madrid. Both players coveted the move and your keeper has been in decline since. Just think De Gea needs a new opportunity.

21st July 2020 at 3:19 pm #132600Ye Ed, Iβm really not sure. I think de gea been written maybe off a bit to dion or what do you think?
Absolutely unreal keeper on the good days. Heβs been far to good to write off so early in my opinion
Bring utd keeper is a much tougher and bigger job then been sheff Utd keeper and de gea is much more expierenced and the better keeper
Two years with a good few mistakes. Hasnβt really recovered since a poor wc 2018 mate???

21st July 2020 at 3:39 pm #132609Very difficult to move De Gea on given his recent contract of Β£250k pw. And who would currently want to sign a Keeper on that kind of salary who is currently suffering a loss of form and confidence.

21st July 2020 at 4:13 pm #132618Sean, think you’re contradicting yourself a bit there. As you say, he’s been making mistakes since 2018, so no I don’t think 2 years of mistakes is writing him off too early. He’s been given the benefit of the doubt for a while now with everyone expecting him to just recapture his earlier form. Some keepers do just tail off. Joe Hart, Casillas etc.
That’s it Nine. Although I’ve absolutely no doubt we’d be able to find a buyer for him if we wanted to. Juventus would surely snap him up, PSG? Utd wouldn’t be asking top dollar for him with his wages in mind.

Itβs a tough one my son

21st July 2020 at 7:39 pm #132675AnonymousI think it’s time he went. I mean, for whatever reason it’s no longer working for him at Utd. Maybe a change of scenery will see him back to form, or close.
