I tried to earlier, but typically you still want to go on and on.
You were victim blaming (saying they were foolish and lacked common sense is blatantly doing this) and it was your first response as before anything about the assaults they were victim of, and were therefore condoning it – you disagree but I don’t care.
You started your first response to the media link I posted by calling me silly, not the article, and with what I think is patronising nonsense. You may disagree, again I don’t care.
I said we may have different standards – pretty obvious otherwise we wouldn’t be disagreeing.I was wrong that you didn’t call me a troll but you were happy to agree with gi who suggested I was trolling – so I’m sorry for that, but nothing else, and stand by it.
Happy to move on though. We won’t always agree.

12th April 2018 at 2:11 pm #20178Beni, I really wanted to leave this all behind but in response to your last post I acknowledged your attempt to bring all this to a close and said in my response that ” I appreciated you reaching out”.
My first post in response to your original post started as follows “Whilst not condoning any sort of violence” I started out not condoning the violence and continued to not condone the violence and I wished in my subsequent posts that the Liverpool fans attacked were ok after the attack and hoped those guilty of the attack would be bought to account not one of my posts condoned the violence in fact the very opposite.
My response to you on being silly was purely in response to you responding to my post above accusing me of condoning the violence despite the first line of my first post clearly stating that I didn’t condone the violence even the Ed came out and said to you that I hadn’t in his opinion condoned the violence.
Yes I said those who went in to the City stand packed with City fans were foolish and even more foolish to stand up and celebrate the goal, Hightown Hope one of the most decent of all Liverpool posters on TT or here posted this “a bit of common sense is sensible, if only for self-preservation.” Which was exactly the point I was making.
You accused me of callng you a troll which you now admit wasn’t the case but then went on to accuse me of agreeing with gjblues who you say suggested you were trolling yet I didn’t even respond to gjblues post.
I’m sorry if I feel insulted by what you threw at me but imo it was not only out of order but had no bearing on anything I’ve posted.
I tried to close this down with my last post to you and I’m happy to try and do the same again now despite my own personal feelings to what was said for the benefit of the site and more importantly for the benefit of the Editor who has done such a great job in building this site up to be the site it is.
Lets try and draw a line under all this now and get back to talking about the football. Peace and love to All. Cheers 999

12th April 2018 at 2:27 pm #20179“Just because you’re offended by something, it doesn’t mean the other person is wrong…..”
The twat known as Ricky Gervais once said that. Pretty obvious to me. Not everybody is going to on everything all the time, and that’s before you consider the notion often forgot here about comments being very easily misinterpreted as it is a cyber chat-room, not a bar down the pub where tone and facial expressions express more than words on here ever could. I reckon you’re both saying the same thing, but I can’t be bothered to re-read it all. Anyway, sensible hat coming off now…..
GET A ROOM, GET A ROOM, GET A ROOM, GET A ROOM…. really, really bored… 🙂

12th April 2018 at 3:09 pm #20182999, your first line was just an empty platitude as it conflicted with the first point of substance you made and upon which you focused your post – you did condone and Attempt to justify why it happened.
I just don’t agree with you, and I’ve tried to stop this nonsense but I will respond if you keep repeating the same thing – please don’t pretend you are doing anything for the best interests of the site or the editor – empty platitudes again – otherwise you would have dropped it this morning as I was trying to do. We just don’t agree.

12th April 2018 at 3:44 pm #20186I really don’t like censoring things so I prefer not to close threads but I think I will eventually do so with this one as it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere any more. If nothing more productive is added to the thread within the next hour or so, then I’ll close it down in the hope it brings an end to the current debate which is currently going back and forth and seemingly not nearing a natural conclusion.
I’d really appreciate it if we could all just move on and at least find another subject to fall out over!

13th April 2018 at 10:13 am #20212Going back the the CL,I said it b4 the Barca-Chelsea tie that Barca are nothing special anymore, especially if you stop the ET Messi. If not for silly individual mistakes Chelsea made, could have easy been Barca out.Their core of players,in Pique,Busquets,Iniesta, and Messi are way past their best, and even the likes of Suarez and Rakitic too.Dembele and Coutinho are the future, but they need a rebuilding!

13th April 2018 at 10:24 am #20213I have been to City ground with my Notts Forest supporting Uni mates on a few occasions, and told the rest of the fookers that I support United-a team they hate with passion, but they all[some of them!] were behaving in a very civilised manner! Twats the lots of them
ps;they hate Liverpool too,or any other team from the North, but kiss the backside of anything/anyone from London.Twats!_____________________________

13th April 2018 at 12:20 pm #20221AnonymousShafted again. Anfield first again. I mean, I guess it worked out ok for us in the quarters but Roma haven’t let in a CL goal at home yet, so with their comeback against Barca in mind, they will have some security no matter how well we do.
