11th April 2018 at 10:16 pm #20136In context, we don’t know the ins and outs of the person sat in and amongst Man City supporters.
We most certainly do not require a ‘sermon’ as we can by more than adult think for ourselves.

11th April 2018 at 10:21 pm #20137Gi,
with heart mate you’re truly welcome; I only wish you supported the same team as I did, but that’s that story of my own life and the luck of the draw – no harm done.
If you’re a fan of Rock N Roll, then let’s hope Liam Gallagher and Co can go for it 🙂
All the best Mate.

11th April 2018 at 11:01 pm #20141Nil, it wasn’t a sermon it was an opinion supported by all the press reports of the incident in response to Mak’s post and I ended it by saying let’s leave it all behind us and get back to the football!

11th April 2018 at 11:27 pm #20142Condoning/excusing it, victim blaming.
In a family area too. I agree entirely with Mak’s post, but it seems as though we aren’t allowed to disagree with 999’s patronizing nonsense, or pull him up for it. I agree also with Alfie.I’ve often been sat with opposition fans in and amongst us and provided they aren’t knobs I’ve rarely seen it be a problem. And that’s not even in a so called family area.
I guess we all have different standards.

12th April 2018 at 12:01 am #20145AnonymousIn no way was that a penalty BTW. he goes totally limp the second he feels a hand on his back and it wasnt much of a shove at all. No wonder Buffon was pissed. If that were against us I’d lose my shit.

12th April 2018 at 12:05 am #20146AnonymousNine, it may not be good sense to sit there but I guess my point is that by us accepting it like this, we’re not going to see change here any time soon. I don’t want to get more involved in it than that tho.

12th April 2018 at 7:47 am #20153when you see injustices like last night then you really feel like giving up all forms of the game and on top of it the despicable unsporting behavior of the madrid team, its no wonder that ronaldo is so intensely disliked great player he may be.

12th April 2018 at 7:58 am #20155Ed, site is great
Best posters from teantakk are on here. Keep up the good work
Always liked Beni as he puts me in my place when I go overboard with the negativity lol
Very disappointed for Buffon , I thought vaguez was going down already
Ye Alfie, I reakky wasn’t sure who I’d like. I think Madrid can be got at but Ronaldo is special. They are Favourites for me but I think we can give them a game

12th April 2018 at 8:02 am #20156Also not sure if 2nd leg at home matters anymore. Away goals is huge these days and I hate been at home 2nd leg when you know an away goal can change everything
We have nothing to fear. I think we can give all teams a game.
Think bales time is up at Madrid aswell.hes not playing well and no longer gauranteed a starting spot

12th April 2018 at 8:09 am #20157Can’t really see what the arguments on here are all about! People disagree, but as long as they are civil with each other, what’s the problem. The idiots who beat up the father and son are completely in the wrong, as were the fans that attacked the bus the previous week. I’d be surprised if anyone on here disagreed with that. I’ve had opposition fans sit around me at Anfield many times over the years, and never felt the need to attack them though I’m sure it does happen. People who want to hurt opposition fans are just scum.
Having said all that, a bit of common sense is sensible, if only for self-preservation. I remember standing on the Stretford End in the 80’s when John Barnes scored for us. Funnily enough, I didn’t jump up and down celebrating!
So come on, lads, Pax, Jim, Beni, 999, let’s not all fall out over this, as by and large, you all agree, it’s just the nuances that you’ve fallen out over. It was a great tie of top class football, at least for Liverpool fans. I’m just excited to see who we will get in the draw on Friday…I think I want Munich, though yesterday I wanted Madrid and by midday tomorrow I’ll want Roma!

12th April 2018 at 9:49 am #20160Sean – likewise, you stop me getting carried away. Reckon we often meet on a more balanced middle ground between us.
Anyway – despite me having a dig at him occasionally I do like 999 a lot, and enjoy him posting on Liverpool issues as Its good to see it through a pretty fair opposition fans eyes, so don’t get too pissed off with me Paul. I’d like to think when we disagree though you don’t call me silly or a troll – if I was trolling I’d go to TT for that.
anyway – id quite fancy a trip to Munich, and sit with the Germans and drink beer and celebtrate a Mo hat trick at the Allianz. I actually think we could beat Madrid over two legs too, as they will struggle with how we press high up the pitch. Bayern are for me the toughest opponent for us, and Madrid are favourites if they avoid us. I really don’t care who we play next – will take two good performances against any of them for us to have a chance of going through.

12th April 2018 at 10:19 am #20162There’s not in reality many people on here, but as far as it goes, I don’t dislike anybody on here – good place to escape too from the world of work where at times you feel everything’s streamlined, plus getting away from everyday life.
Yes Nine, we like you a lot, just a difference in opinion time to time, but thou shall not fall out 🙂

12th April 2018 at 10:24 am #20163Beni, I appreciate you reaching out but whilst I accused you of being silly I did not call you a troll.
I’ve been accused by you of condoning/excusing violence and victim blaming when my posts on the issue demonstrate exactly the opposite and of posting patronising nonsense and of having poor standards.
So yes I am pissed off with you Beni very pissed off with you in fact for you throwing what you have at me totally unjustifiably given my posts on the subject and there is a way of disagreeing Beni see Hightown and Mak’s posts on here re that.
I don’t think you’re silly in fact the opposite and that comment was made purely in response to your original post when you accused me of condoning violence even though my post opened with I’m not condoning violence and I have subsequently gone out of my way to confirm that very point in my subsequent posts also wishing the Liverpool fans attacked well and hoping the perpetrators are caught.

12th April 2018 at 11:13 am #20167Beni, I did say I appreciated you reaching out but to be fair had I thrown at you what you threw at me you would be pissed off too.
Having said that for the sake of the Site and more importantly for the sake of the Ed who has put so much into building such a good Site let’s draw a line under all this now and move on. Peace and love all.
