No qualms on the team selection and it’s a pretty solid line up, but we really should be in front. Getting slightly anxious about this.

24th February 2018 at 4:56 pm #16478AnonymousGreat win. Some really good performances in there. I think that over time, we’re becoming a little more consistent. Before we might have been frustrated to not score within the first 20 minutes but we grew into the game, rather than letting it get to us.
Some lovely football played at times and it was really nice to see the front 3 all get goals. I thought Milner was fantastic. The commentary for the stream that i was watching didn’t think much of it but I think Zabaleta should have gotten a red card for that “tackle” on Milner. The second injury that is. He tried to do him there, in my opinion. very dirty stuff.
Robertson is my man of the match. I can see him being world class, some day. yes I just said that.

5 live commentary, 3’o’clock kick off and a comprehensive home win with ALL of our trio getting on the scoresheet.
Happy happy happy. Hopefully results go our way from tomorrow’s games.

24th February 2018 at 5:37 pm #16483Big win and Liverpool are on a real roll now and will take some stopping in getting second place and City will be pleased they’ve got such a significant points lead right now at the top of the table given Liverpool’s current momentum.
Congrats to all the Liverpool lads on here. Hopefully we can help you out tomorrow.?

24th February 2018 at 6:51 pm #16490Cheers Nine mate.
Dunno about talking ourselves up – scares me a bit haha.
I think a big thing to take confidence from apart from the obvious of goals galore is the consistency in being more disciplined at the back.
Kieta will strengthen us, but there’s always room for another top class defender to add to the fold.

25th February 2018 at 8:23 am #16507Klopp has turned Firmino into some player. Perfect centre forward for our style of play.
We are playing reall well now and itβs a joy to watch at times but still plenty of games left. Anything can happen

25th February 2018 at 9:02 am #16511AnonymousThe league is impossible, which is a real shame because as things stand I think we’re capable of competing game by game, with City. We were definitely able for them when we played them last time and you could argue that we were in the previous game before Mane’s red card. So, although the title is just not achievable, this is something that we can look at from here until the end of the season. We can hopefully keep clocking up those wins and further solidifying areas.
that’s our problem isn’t it? The fact that we’ve been needing to either get players in , or to have the team gel. The GK + defence issue looks to be heading in the right direction, finally. Karius is much improved and the rest of the season should give him enough time for people to get used to eachother, with Van Dijks arrival looking like a good purchase. We need the remaining games to see if things can really set. As for the wingbacks, Robertson is a potential world class player in the making. I’ve never been so impressed by a wing/fullback. Never. I can’t wait to see how good he can be for us. TAA is a bit of a rough gem at times but a lad with loads of ability, enthusiasm and is a really good foil for Robertson, for use of a better term.
Our attack needs no discussion, it’s one of the best in the world. Let this continue please. As for midfield though, this is the one area that i don’t think the rest of the season will be any good for us. We have some changes coming here, so I think we’ll be heading into next season with a question mark in this area. This will be the department that will make or break a title challenge, in my opinion.
We still have the Champions League to play for this season, so it isn’t all about the long term project and it’s great to have a positive outlook for now and for the future, with Klopp to thank. Let’s hope it doesn’t all go to shit!

25th February 2018 at 9:17 am #16513And to think some people on the radio wanted Klopp out and were vividly critical of him after being dumped out of the FA Cup.
Our true faults is that between now and 2012, we’ve been losing finalist rather than winners when it has come to the FA CUP, League Cup, and The Uefa Europa League Cup. Just imagine those trophies to our name.
That’s crucially what the players have not tasted – concrete success. I keep making reference to the League table in our standings and how it shows more than anything our resilience irrespective of our obvious weakness in shipping goals.
I genuinely want Klopp to succeed and I believe he will deliver for us sooner if not later.
