Chucky, it seems you’re caught up in this what seemingly is a ‘BOUT’ between ‘who is beni’ and myself. I deal with this. Anybody else that wants to deal with me incidentally, go for your life.

4th February 2018 at 9:15 pm #14741So I’m not a tit and you would employ me as a social worker? Even though I don’t own sandles?

4th February 2018 at 9:16 pm #14742I haven’t mentioned Social Worker. Never to offend you Chucky – just a ‘Wasp’ who is beni – Get lost you troublesome nonsense – we don’t want you!

4th February 2018 at 9:20 pm #14746So Beni isn’t a Spud-lover, but a wasp-licker, who you wouldn’t employ as a social worker, even though I’m a tit? Somebody really should put one of those time-lock thingys on your computer, or a breathalyzer or something…

4th February 2018 at 9:29 pm #14747I’m really confused now! It’s hard to tell who’s arguing with who. Nil, give it a rest. I don’t know how many times I’ve said now that this is not a closed shop for Liverpool fans. If that’s what you want in a forum, I suggest you look elsewhere

4th February 2018 at 9:39 pm #14750I’ve given Nil yet another enforced break from posting. Not quite sure what happened between the in-depth detailed analysis of the game post and calling Chucky a tit, but it’s becoming a joke now and so predictable.

Can understand some frustration after the injury time penalty

4th February 2018 at 10:19 pm #14753Pretty obvious Nil has a drink problem. When drunk he turns into a pretty obnoxious person who randomly has a pop at anybody. He clearly needs to get some professional help.

4th February 2018 at 10:49 pm #14754AnonymousI guess I only scanned that cause I seem to have missed the flashpoint of it all but Nil. . I mean, I was genuinely pissed off after that result but christ, take a chill pill.
anyway , I didn’t come back to discuss penalties but I thought I’d mention that Karius actually played excellently. I am always giving him stick because I just think he’s utterly useless. Well, he showed that he’s capable on his day. I wonder if this is something that he can push on from. Surely he’ll be delighted with that performance, even if he couldn’t do much about the result in the end.
As for Salah, well what needs to be said?
I was really hoping that things would go well for Mane as he just looks so frustrated out there over the past few months (in general). He made some really good runs early on in the game but you could see the lack of confidence that is kinda typified in a player once all obstacles are out of the way (beaten yer man and then almost run out of ideas).
It was a tough game for sure and one that highlighted (only slightly) the need for a better central midfield. I was really unhappy to see Can start, especially with Milner in there. I would have gone with only one of them at most. I think it’d have been much smarter to start with Wijnaldum. yes, we were dominant int he first half but I think we’d have been even more dominant had he started.
Fair deuce to Spurs though in the 2nd half, not many teams can turn the tide on us at Anfield, without us surrendering it. . and I don’t feel we did. Not like the usual cascade anyway.
I’m still looking at this as 2 points lost. We stay ahead of Spurs but it’s a wasted opportunity to put some daylight in between us.
Tell you what, we could really have used Keita in there today.

5th February 2018 at 8:01 am #14758AnonymousIn all that talk yesterday, I never did go into something that I think I saw in Liverpool’s play yesterday. I’m particularly talking about the first half but was it just me or did we actually look pretty well tuned defensively? I’m not talking about the usual with Firmino etc closing players down but the more traditional type of defending (that we so often can’t get right). I was only watching on TV so there is a lot that you miss but it looked like we had a really good shape. The line looked really good and played the off-side trap perfectly once or twice. Some key looking passes were blocked/intercepted really sharply. I would even say that besides a big mistake from each of Lovren and Van Dijk, they both played well.
I’d be inclined to give that CB partnership a few matches.

5th February 2018 at 8:07 am #14759My final say on the penalties in yesterdays game.
At the end of the day, they were no more penalties than the penalty Salah was “awarded” against WBA in the Cup, or the recent Hazard penalty against the Goonies (was that Prem or Cup, can’t remember!). No clear cut goal scoring opportunity was realistically denied in my opinion on all 4, yet the attacking player went down somewhat theatrically in all 4 cases. And while they keep being giving, attacking players are going to keep exaggerating, simples as dimples.
I mean, if a Spud player even touched Salah during his little dribble for his 2nd, we all know he would have gone down like a 10 dollar whore.

5th February 2018 at 8:12 am #14760Nil, take a few days off and have a good think mate.
The Ed has your best interest at heart and has cut you plenty of slack but you need to stop giving him these sorts of problems with your outbursts it’s not good for you, it’s not good for the site and the Ed could do without it all too.
There is a good group of lads on here and you’re held in great fondness by all and the last thing the Ed wants to do I’m sure is to suspend you or even worse end up banning you for good.
Help him and yourself out Nil and try turn over a new leaf and when the red mist descends lock the computer away and rant away on a piece of paper to yourself and then come back on the next day with it all forgotten. Cheers 999

5th February 2018 at 8:13 am #14761Oh, and don’t ban NIL, I think we all know when he’s going on “one”, and although I can’t speak for Benji, I certainly wasn’t “offended”. Highly amused perhaps, but not offended.
I think we can all agree there is a problem of sorts there, but speaking from experience, isolating him isn’t going to help. If he needs to vent, let him vent. We’re all big boys here, personally speaking I can handle being called a “tit” on an internet forum once in a while!

5th February 2018 at 9:00 am #14766AnonymousThe problem with nil is it potentially stops new members of the forum posting. People will come here because they are sick of the playground behaviour of other sites and then see Nil behaving like this on a daily basis. Whilst people might not be offended by his actions itβs incredibly frustrating. He ruins countless threads with his always unnecessary meltdowns and personal attacks and creates threads about absolutely nothing which pushes active ones down the list and leads them to be forgotten about. I think people need to stop holding his hand and telling him how respected he is, because he isnt and doing this just makes him think what heβs doing is ok. He either needs to sort himself out or quit posting on forums.
