14th January 2018 at 6:31 pm #12439Well played Liverpool, congratulations to all the Liverpool fans on here. I always thought we would struggle in the game without David Silva and we did. Gundog is much slower in his passing and build up play. For long periods we created nothing, combine that with silly mistakes at the back and poor passing and this Liverpool team were always going to capitalise. Gutted but we move on. Jim.

14th January 2018 at 6:32 pm #12441WOW!!!
They should release a DVD for this, haha. Definitely not one for the Pulse and the Heart!!!
There were genuine alarm bells even with only a minute to play once Liverpool’s assistant Manager risen from his chair which made Jurgen Klopp notice and treat the situation seriously.
Individuals like Benardo Silva, Leroy Sane, and Gudgon can’t be treated lightly because they can spray the ball in little pockets and catch us off guard just like the back end of the first half when the game was going flat and some players out there looked drowsy. It only takes one moment to change the course of the game and give you a rude awakening.
Of course, I thought we could go on to score more to make it 5, even 6, but at the back of your mind you always sense City have a goal in them and that completely epitomizes everything about them this season.
Full credit to Gini who for me was man of the match. I have rightly criticized them in the past because this is the player and the finished article I am looking for, like a Michael Thomas to tidy up, be robust, hold the ball and deliver that dribbling ability. Wijnaldum now for me has these qualities and a huge well done to him.
I genuinely knew and had a premonition we’d have this day because in spite of our vulnerability in defence we have improved in the league immensely and the fact that we’ve now been unbeaten in 17-18 games speaks volumes.
All goals just wonderful to watch and all without our former little Brazilian.
*****WE ARE LIVERPOOL*****
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

14th January 2018 at 6:34 pm #12442On Karius, I know there’s an argument about his near post, but that strike I just knew from Sane would end up in the back of the net.
This strike reminds me a bit of a certain Robbie Fowler V Peter Schmeichel 1995 when Fowler bulleted the ball so hard, there was only one place of it ending up.

14th January 2018 at 7:04 pm #12459Agree PPT! Mav showing how little he has watched City this season?? That’s the polite explanation.

impossible to get the required points needed._____________________________

14th January 2018 at 7:04 pm #12461Mav, I was actually more surprised by the inclusion of Delph.
There’s a genuine World Class player in the Pipeline ala Gudgon – he makes things happen. Hopefully one that stays in the Premier League. Bernado Silva too, genuine gravy.
PPT, commiserations mate, tough one to take I can imagine, but you guys never give up and was fortunate to see you live last month.
Commiserations too to fellow City supporters, Jim, Brian, Adlab, Goats, GiBlues, Cityboy54 – one of the bunch of supporters and genuinely a good sporting bunch.

14th January 2018 at 7:12 pm #12464Stones has vastly improved this season. Heβs only coming back from an injury which maybe explains the mistakes that have crept in in the last few days.

14th January 2018 at 7:27 pm #12466Be interesting to see how City react to this defeat some may think that this defeat by Liverpool might impact on their drive for the title more likely though imo is that they’ve got a monkey off their back with all of this invincible talk and they’ll have the title wrapped up by April.
Still think they need David Silva back in the team as quickly as possible which is not so easy with his family problems.

14th January 2018 at 7:30 pm #12467Cracking game, two best teams in the Premier…we have to start another run until the end of the season. I would like to see us with a good physical CB, this is where we miss Kompany but I fear his days are numbered now. We lost possession too many times to day. Pity one team had to loose but we have to take it on the chin and learn a few lessons before we k.o again.

14th January 2018 at 7:57 pm #12472Otamendi has been really good this season – and John Stones didnβt do badly but was a bit jaded I think when Firmino got the better of him.
Iβd have either of them ahead of Lovren.

14th January 2018 at 8:26 pm #12477Paul & Jim-They were rubbish tonight,so was Sterling-all 3 of them very overrated imho. Not seen much of City but Stones and Sterling play for Engerland, they are bound to be overhyped.
ps;united we win only posts on United page, and Alex has been banned from TT-no idea if he knows about this side._____________________________
