Citys passing has been poor, expect it to improve second half. Get Merlin on for Gundog, hes just so much quicker. Thought both keepers at fault for goals but Carrius more so. Who do you want to win Alfie? Or is it a case of you wanting one team to lose more?

14th January 2018 at 5:01 pm #12406Good game but both keepers have been poor not only cause of the goals but with the crosses as well

14th January 2018 at 5:20 pm #12407AnonymousTwo great goals from Firmino and mane. City all over the place at the moment.
Martin Tyler really wants Liverpool to win and isnβt even hiding it.

14th January 2018 at 5:23 pm #12410AnonymousTough one Jim!
If I had my way, it would be a draw and the ref would forget it was a league match and play extra time!?
City arenβt going to be caught, so a city win is the best for Utd.
Iβm off to wash my mouth out.

14th January 2018 at 5:54 pm #12416You can’t defend like City did against a side as capably offensive as Liverpool.
The result won’t change the title race but it might change the race for CL places.
Great game and City will say to themselves if only. I wonder what the odds were on a 4-3 Liverpool win.?

14th January 2018 at 5:57 pm #12418Great win. Never comfortable at 4-1 even with ten left
Crazy defending. Brilliant game
Our game management is terrible but city are really top class the way they move the ball. Itβs sll about winning and that was a massive win for us.
Robertson and ox are coming on hugely under Klopp
Hopefully vvd makes a difference as that defending is just to much for the heart

14th January 2018 at 5:58 pm #12419What a game,Liverpool should have been 6 or 7 up before City scored their 2nd.Great game.

14th January 2018 at 6:03 pm #12421Great game for the neutral. Really thought they’d pulled it back there in the last minute. Ederson was poor today and Stones wasn’t great either. Sane I thought had a decent game.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Liverpool go far in the CL. Not many top teams will be able to cope with their pressing game and with Van Dijk to come in and shore up the defence, you just never know. It’s the smaller sides Liverpool seem to struggle to break down.

– Out of the FA Cup
– Sanchez and Ozil leaving
– Iwobi out on the lash
– 23 points behind Man City
– No Champions League football
– Lose to Bournemouth
– Wenger is still manager

14th January 2018 at 6:06 pm #12424You have to feel for Arsenal fans at the moment! At least they get to keep talking about the Invincibles though after City looked like joining them in that club before today’s defeat

14th January 2018 at 6:09 pm #12426Thought it was very decent of us to let City get two goals just to keep the last 10-15 mins interesting.
A bit dull when one team romps away._____________________________

14th January 2018 at 6:15 pm #12430Sean, I don’t want to take anything away from a great Liverpool win but until Liverpool sign a quality Keeper they won’t come on defensively if they do sign a quality Keeper once VVD and Keita have settled themselves in I think next season Liverpool will be genuine title contenders.

14th January 2018 at 6:23 pm #12434Agree Sean, itβs near killed me. Was gripping the seat in front so hard my finger nails were almost coming off.
Happy with the win – we limited City to only 4 or 5 shots. We do need a decent keeper.
