11th August 2017 at 2:08 pm #3502well now.. it seems Couts handed a transfer request via email? Should have sent that BEFORE FSG made the statement if it’s true at all. No way FSG is going to allow this without looking like fools.
Boy, why does every year feel like a bad roller coaster ride? So what’s the truth guys? Anyone knows?

11th August 2017 at 2:20 pm #3508Oh and @_ChrisBascombe
It looks official now that he has indeed handed in a transfer request to Michael Edwards via email before reporting to training today.
It’s Klopp’s decision, not FSG whether to let him go. If he now thinks (just like VVD at Southampton) that he could be a disruptive influence this season because he’s not been allowed to go, he may sanction the sale. I hope Coutinho doesn’t throw his toys out and Klopp thinks it is more beneficial to have him stay than go.
But I have to say that it’s 100% certain imo that he will go next summer π

11th August 2017 at 4:36 pm #3529Our transfer dealings, in and out, are just a farce. And to think we all thought it was Ian Ayre who was f*****g it up!

11th August 2017 at 9:13 pm #3567I’d let Him go now,He’s put the request in and if We can get more than the 90 million then We can get a replacement in,It’s no use keeping a player that doesn’t want to be at the club any longer and although Coutinho hasn’t spat the dummy out it will be a wrench to see him go.

11th August 2017 at 11:24 pm #3587Sorry, when I say he’s done I mean as a footballer. His legs have gone. There’s a reason Barca want rid. We don’t want him.

12th August 2017 at 8:23 am #3591I hope people aren’t still buying into the “more than a club” myth that Barcelona used to like to associate themselves with. I’m convinced that Barca are slowly but surely becoming less and less relevant in the football world.

12th August 2017 at 9:45 am #3594We need a player in return no way other teams will be selling big players at this stage of the season to us

12th August 2017 at 6:32 pm #3622Zk, as good as that sounds, I think ginger is right in the sense that you very rarely see player plus cash deals. They’re often rumoured but very rarely actually happen.

12th August 2017 at 9:39 pm #3632I honestly don’t think the attraction to play there is because of much more than the climate and the wages. I think the whole prestige thing is often overplayed
Coutinho's Liverpool teammates sympathise with him. Understand why he wants move. Nearly all players will say yes to Barcelona & Real Madrid
