Phillips has been steady and has grown. Williams I think may need a loan out to learn his trade and beef up.
Fabinho in midfield helps us. Tiago has improved significantly to the player we signed.
Hopefully, we can get Gini sorted and let him have his move, then concentrate in selling our fringe players and trying to bring new ones in.

Loads of reasons why we are going to the last day for this. No one can excuse the injuries we have had. We have missed huge leaders for huge chunks of the season. Henderson,vvd, matip, Gomez , thisgo, fabhino, Milner.
The manager got so many things wrong. Playing fabhino and Hendo at c&b was ridiculous. If klopp had of acted quicker and moved fabhino back into midfield and trusted Philips more then who knows
So many players out of form. Covid Illness no fans, no money (goes for all clubs)
Itโs been an absolutely bizarre season and we even had our own questions klopp and saying sell salah, mane etc. Thisgo would not fit in etc. Rash judgments from our fans when this team deserved all the support in the world after 3 of the best seasons as a lfc fan. It would t have mattered if we finished 17th, I would never write off the manager or players. Absolutely shocking from some fans about fickle they can be.
Support the manager who is the best thing that has happened to this club in decades. Him and the team have enough credit in the bank for a longtime
Hopefully get 4th, get players back from injury and use whatever little money we have well and get ready for next season

Sean….very true about the support of a Manager and another reason why I would not let any fans, any team near the small amount of perceived “say” they all want….they are more than fickle. Support the team and Manager through thick and thin…that is what a real fan does

Sean, I guess all clubs have them but the worry to me there appears to be a new breed of fan that think it is their right to say how a club is managed.
As to a bad season, well I with lots of other fans have spent year after year suffering but always let the Manager get on with his job, well most of the time, I do recollect a few “dodgy” managers. I also remember when almost the whole City fan base was against the owners letting Joe Mercer go in a very poor way, one of the best Managers we ever had. Fans!!! to days lot are pitiful_____________________________

Yeah, echo all those points you make. I thought our season was done after that draw against Newcastle.
We somehow found something and put together a run of results. I think the United win’s been the catalyst. Hopefully, we get over the line on Sunday.

Well Sean, Mikus, HH;
We salvaged a very difficult and a horrifying season. Only last month, we were destined to finish outside European football places with indifferent results.
It progressed to grow worse after the turn of the new year. Our players lost the basic ability to play football.
It had to take something special with the ingredients of good fortune, help possibly of VAR decisions and a above all a sequence of victories.
Klopp for May’s Manager Of The Month. 5 Wins in succession and we’ve qualified for Champions League Football

Good Post Hightown on the Europa final Thread.
I saw a few days ago from one of the online papers a League Table made without VAR and I think Pool would have bettered 5 points and possibly would have finished 2nd.
We had goals chalked off re Everton and Brighton. Flipside, decisions going for us that shouldn’t have been. The point is about the whole journey of the 38 games and how it ultimately affects our Proposition which I think is the key point here.
The final 3rd where it was needed the most, we came up Trumps, so if anything, we deserved the Plaudits ๐

Really feel for the lad playing for their countries especially in major tournaments is clearly very important to all players.
I think TTA could have had a sensational Euros possibly playing in an even more advanced role but hopefully he will get another chance shortly in the World Cup.
