An interesting point about running players into the ground. Pep has recently been telling his players that they are running TOO MUCH and a style of play has evolved from that. I am sure in time that will change as well

17th February 2021 at 10:55 am #175585Cheers for the replies Gents. Don’t get time of late to reply back straight away due to work commitments.
Seen yesterday Pep’s support towards Jurgen. My liking and Respect grows and grows. I think he has genuine admiration for both him and Liverpool.

18th February 2021 at 3:15 pm #175608Nike..that was never in doubt in my mind, only the media whip up less savoury comments of the two.I also think they both get on with most other managers. Keep well and take care

18th February 2021 at 3:36 pm #175611Hmh, I’m not sure you can blame the media for reporting what Klopp said to the media about City getting an elongated break prior to the game at Anfield, but I’m sure there’s a mutual respect for each other they are both great Coaches.

19th February 2021 at 8:09 pm #175629Hello Brian, Hope you’re well. Appreciate your reply.
I took the Context Face Value and have no doubt in Pep’s Intentions. He is a Class Human Being Above All. He’s aware of how the Media is in here but no doubt in my mind for a second there’s any form of ‘Lip Service’. He is Genuinely Supportive towards Jurgen.
Cheers

19th February 2021 at 8:12 pm #175630Nine, I think mate it felt to see if some sort of a reaction would come from Pep from a ‘Light the Touch-paper POV’. Basically mate the Media behaving in the way they do in order to stimulate their perceived reaction.
Cheers

20th February 2021 at 8:23 am #175646Nil,Klopp said what he said about City’s break of his own fruition in a TV interview prior to the clash at Anfield which was probably why he said it you really cannot blame the media for that.
Let’s be honest Klopp has not handled Liverpool’s poor run of results very well with media and there’s a review with Jermaine Jena’s in the press today talking about that. To be fair though the loss of his Mother and not being able to attend the funeral may have played a part in that.

20th February 2021 at 9:32 am #175648Best of saying nothing nine. Load of moaning from klopp this season. Sore loser like most managers.
Difficult season but you canβt keep moaning. Top 4 be a good season considering everything but thatβs going to be difficult
Everything went for us last season. No major injuries to key players. Little var 50/50 decisions going our way
Nothing is going right this season and we just have to get on with it

20th February 2021 at 9:39 am #175649I still think Liverpool and also United will finish in the top 4, Chelsea therefore need Leicester in particular to drop points but also the chasing pack.

20th February 2021 at 10:28 am #175652They’ve got the second season yips. Ist title in 30 years, 1st title ever in the Premier League and couldn’t back it up. That also happens to newly promoted teams that have a great first season then it all falls apart. Kl;pp needs to regroup in the summer, reassess, strategically purchase and start again. The tried and proven of last season clearly doesn’t cut the mustard this season. Theyve lost their hunger, their desire for some reason. Mo Salah will probably leave and that may not be such a bad thing. He and Mane appear to play like the odd couple these days and Robbie F caught in the mix.

20th February 2021 at 12:41 pm #175654Donβt really agree with that Chelsea 67 mate
Plenty of reasons why we are were we are mate but itβs not because of lack of hunger or desire.
Itβs been 3 very intense seasons. 3 excellent seasons. 2 cl finals, a few trophies, absolutely crazy points tallies. Certainly not just one good season It just last season. People write city off after last season but I certainly didnβt and I think we can bounce back next season.
Salah has been excellent this season. I agree about regrouping. Get players back and get rid of a few injury prone players but I canβt see us spending big. Only way I get rid of salah was if it meant bringing mbappe in and thatβs never going to happen in a million years.

20th February 2021 at 1:30 pm #175655Maybe Leipzig was the turning point Sean. Everton will be interesting on current form however they seem to freeze at Anfield, simply don’t turn up and perform. I guess they forever live in Liverpool’s shadow. I like Liverpool Sean and cheered them home last season because I really thought they deserved all the accolades however this season they have really struggled. Some of the home losses were astounding. Anyway there are few better than Klopp to sort it all out and I am sure he will.

20th February 2021 at 1:33 pm #175656Three great seasons from Liverpool playing at full tilt was always going to take its toll also along the way Liverpool haven’t freshened up.
The Summer transfer window and next season will be interesting the Liverpool fans seemingly think get the injured players back and normal service will be resumed but I have a feeling it might go deeper than that also there’s no Coutinho to provide the big funds to do that Liverpool would have to sell a Mane or Salah and I’m not sure that helps and selling squad players given the state of football will be very difficult same applies to all Clubs.

20th February 2021 at 1:39 pm #175657Ye nine, more to it then just the injured players but we just need to get tvis seasin out of the way and hopefully our luck changes next season.
Next season will be very tough but what I meant is, we canβt get really get as bad as we are now next season with a few players returning chum
1967, ye we are really struggling mate. Everton will never get a better chance then this evening.

20th February 2021 at 10:02 pm #175688999 sums it up well. Chelsea have a hell of a lot of work to do as well. Yet another toothless display by us up front. Liverpool have key players missing that no doubt contribute to the situation. Not sure I can say the same at the Bridge.

24th February 2021 at 9:36 pm #175985Something needed to be backtracked in essence from the point of the Pandemic last March that the Physio Team were not paid or able to Furlough.
This if True Correlates to our Injuries and Recovery. Apparently, Agency Staff have been Hired Makeshift.
There is something Serious in this because in even in the early 1990s, there was nothing like this.
The Fans not being there could be Masking a Frontline Fundamental Matter.
