Jota is not a backup player now mak. Heβs a genuine contender for a spot up top
Heβs been brilliant. Another excellent signing

23rd November 2020 at 9:28 am #170760Absolutely delighted with what we showed with those group of players last night. We have a squad and players that can come in and step up. Fabinho in defense, top class – linked well with Matip who was Superb.
A good block of fixtures going into December. Spurs will be a Test. We need to get through Brighton this Sat. Hopefully by then, Thiago and Salah will return to strengthen us.

23rd November 2020 at 10:13 am #170762Following his sending off last Saturday, Tariq Lamptey will miss the game against Liverpool:
https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/18889443.albion-will-adapt-without-tariq-lamptey-versus-liverpool/
Solly March, and Neal Maupay main threats for Seagulls. I think if Fabs is involved in the same position with Matip, he’ll be generally fine.

3ps can help with this, but it seems Napoli FC are in deep trouble financially and unable to pay their players wages?Liverpool should steal K2,and he is not their only class player._____________________________

25th November 2020 at 7:57 pm #170879AnonymousBTW lads, that 7/1 bet I made on Jota that I told ye about. well, I just saw a while ago that it came through. The first goal being an OG didnt count apparently. Pretty sweet. I only put small money on games, but that 10er gave me back 70 plus the original 10.
I took out 55 and ok maybe placed too much of the rest on the game tonight. 25 on it in various ways. fingers crossed.
we’ve a weak enough team out there tonight but its kinda what i was hoping for, if that makes sense. I expect salah to only play 45-60 mins.

25th November 2020 at 8:01 pm #170880AnonymousMav, maybe we will man… that’d be ridiculous though. We would without question have the best defence in the world and maybe ever.

25th November 2020 at 8:14 pm #170883AnonymousI cant seem to create threads anymore, I guess I’ve lost privileges or something is gone wrong but ya, Neco Williams isnt up to this standard. Hopefully he can learn while he’s at it but I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

25th November 2020 at 10:33 pm #170892AnonymousI turned it off at half time. Not out of frustration or anything but I had people asking to play games and I put the match on my 2nd monitor but caught essentially none of it.
The loss isnt that surprising TBH, I could see it coming but the important thing to do tonight was not to stack another 90 mins on some players legs and we managed that.
it’s not pretty but the PL match is more important. We can still top the group, so I fully support what Klopp did tonight. It’s a shame we couldnt win but from what I saw, we didnt deserve it.

25th November 2020 at 10:50 pm #170893Good call Mak. You ultimately do what’s right for you.
For me personally, not been into it tonight since the news of Diego Maradona’s passing.

25th November 2020 at 11:16 pm #170895AnonymousYa, for me I just never turn matches off. I think ive said here before I am going to but except 1 time, never did. Its only out of boredom really that I will and I was kinda bored but more so, I had people annoying me to do something else and it just tipped the balance.
I cant say i have a lot of sadness about Maradona. I am sad for the man of course but I mean, I didnt really see much of him as a lad. He was banned for the tournament I was definitely going to watch,.

26th November 2020 at 6:10 am #170898Mak, sorry to hear you’re having problems creating threads. Just ran some updates. Can you check to see if it’s still a problem. If so, what exactly is happening when you try to create one?

26th November 2020 at 12:06 pm #170902AnonymousEd, the option just wasnt there (the form for creating it wasnt showing at all) but it is now. Perhaps I just needed to reload it or my browser.
Sean, they were the better team alright but we were pretty understandably diminished. This really highlights how we need to make at least 1 signing in January. We can’t end up having to play this first 11 in the PL.

26th November 2020 at 5:23 pm #170920Lots of predictions the only certain one imo is that Liverpool will strengthen in the Centre Back area which realistically they should have probably done in the Summer which would have lessened the problems of losing both VVD and Gomez after also selling Lovren.

28th November 2020 at 6:43 pm #171067We are really stretched now I have to say . Milner out now which is no suprise as he was being over played as not many other options. we are missing a host of midfielders now. Thiago out for Ajax and wolves games.
Concerning now I have to say

28th November 2020 at 8:24 pm #171074I thought I’d keep our comments on here; whether or not aggrieved, you feel hard done by. Sometimes you need the rub of the green to get over the line.
I don’t quite see empathy from non-Liverpool fans or more of a measured view (so far) from the Internet.
Sean, you’re right mate.
We’ve been all over the shop. I’d say that’s a reflection of our injuries. It’s taking a toll on Jurgen Klopp because he’s planning 2-3 matches ahead and he’s now in ‘rotation mode’.
I felt for Lallana – Top Guy; plays a few minutes and he’s injured and forced off. What is ‘scientifically’ happening? Footballers in the 80s and 90s carried Meat and Muscle. The game’s too quick. The whole ethos has changed.
Gents, it’s got to a point effectively where this is now a non-contact Sport. Never was that a Penalty for me. Did Wellbeck go down? No. It’s Nonsense.
The Referees are in a Trend to revisit these incidents examining slow-motion replays on the monitored and effectively changing their way of thinking to then overturn a decision.
We’re Top Of The League with all things considered and commendable as Defending Champions. We Will Trouble-shoot our way through this I am Confident and we Will Push All The Way to Defend Our Crown.
