Ya, I had a look and we have only 2 big games between now and January. Thiago and Fabinho arent fit for Leicester but they’ll be here and 100% fit again for Spurs.
I don’t know which way Im going regards the title, it’s pretty grim for us but as you say, we still have a surprisingly good first 11. That defence will get walked through but the attack might get us out of jail.
Looking forward to the match, even though Im also worried about it.

19th November 2020 at 2:58 pm #170396AnonymousIt seems like we’ve had to wait a month for this game to come but the PL is nearly back. As worried as I might be, I’m more excited. This is a chance for Jota to show us that he’s ready to play 90 mins, as he’s been better as an impact sub for us so far. I’m not sure what to think about how we’ll manage to keep Leicester out but focus has to be on dominating them in midfield and above. It really doesn’t help that we’re playing a counter-attacking team with this in mind but we’ve got one of the best attacks in the PL and if we are effective there, they won’t get much to counter with. Jota comes in already thriving on the high pressing game, so that will really help. I think Mane is due a devastating performance and Firmino is over-due one.
No Fabinho and especially no Thiago really hurts though and it really chips away at our chances of getting a result.
I don’t know which way to go in predicting it. We have gone up against better teams, with key players missing (Barca comes to mind) and put in an awesome performance. Could we do it this time? Toss of a coin, I cant decide.

19th November 2020 at 6:53 pm #170411Leicester’s strength is to play on the counter with Vardy’s pace and try and catch us off card. We can’t afford any silly mistakes. I think if Milner plays at right-back and partner’s Matip, on a good day, we should be able to contain him.
Harvey Barnes is good. I think once we near to the Sunday, we’ll have a more clearer picture as to who will play.

20th November 2020 at 11:52 am #170416AnonymousNil, Thiago hasn’t been showing up for training though from what I hear, so if he manages a few days full training with the lads it still won;’t be enough after that much time out. Who knows, maybe he can make the bench but my guess is that it’ll really only be as a moral booster for the team.

22nd November 2020 at 8:45 am #170598Thiago is back and I think Ox is in contention too. Not sure what team will be put together but we will find out later on today. Having looked at Spurs’ fixtures, they’ve got some tricky ones coming up.
I think the way this league has shaped so far, if we were to lose, it wouldn’t be the end of our title campaign. A win tonight would be Super Great.

22nd November 2020 at 8:52 am #170599Thiago is out for at least another week nil mate
I think if we can go with 4-2-3-1
Alison
Milner matip fabhino robo
Winji keita
Mane Shaq jota
BobbyItβs a very good team abd more then capable of winning. Vardy is the real worry and Leicester usually play 3 in midfield so that could a concern
Iβd be very concerned if fabhino doesnβt make it and Philips or willians start up againest vardy

22nd November 2020 at 9:10 am #170604That’s a strong line up Sean. I think Leicester will try and play us on the counter thus the Vardy danger. Need to get through tonight and hopefully with all 3 points.

22nd November 2020 at 9:18 am #170608Sean Jordan’s going to be missed tonight. I hope Milli starts with the Captain’s Armband. Otherwise, it’ll be Mane, our main man.
Gini and Keita or Thiago will give us protection. Matip on a good day and keep Vardy quiet.

22nd November 2020 at 9:55 pm #170741Super Win for us Tonight. Absolutely Delighted. I wasn’t aware of ’64 Not Out’, but that Signifies something Truly Special in What Jurgen Klopp has built here in his Reign and We Thank Him Each Day.

We looked Notably above all Comfortable. The one thing bugging me was the Media tipping the way they did that Leicester would win and ‘return’ to Top Spot.
It’s a New Level of Society we now live in where the Decorum and Standards Effectively dropped on deaf ears.
We let our Football do the talking Tonight. Look at the Injuries and we still win 3-0.

23rd November 2020 at 12:44 am #170754AnonymousI have only scanned this but Sean, as far as I know Thiago will be back for the next PL match. Maybe he’ll get on the bench mid week, thats just hopeful, ive no idea.
anyway lads I wanted to ask this here and not be annoying others but I know we have scored the most goals int he PL but now with Jota, do we have the best attack in the PL?
Before people ask why I didn’t think this before, well City have always been the best in this regard. I think we’ve been in the conversation for sure but now I think we might actually have the best attack. We have that front 3, admittedly Firmino is more like a really advanced midfielder in many ways but there’s Jota who tips the balance for me. Someone is going to lose their place when Thiago and Salah come back. I guess it might be Jota, or likely it will be a rotation but if you look at his performances so far and not even just the impressive stats, it’d be a huge shame for him to sit on the bench.
anyway, what we see are first world problems. Just when you think that we cant improve in one regard or another, we do. As far as luck goes though, it has ruined our defence but not our chances of defending the PL.
I loved that game today and you know though, I really loved the Villa V Brighton match too. The PL is just amazing now, so much quality.
