“.Havertz,Fabinho and Henderson/Keita”
Wijnaldum will never lose his palce in the side. he’s one of the first names on the teamsheet. I know you’re a Utd fan and go from what you hear and the limited amount of games that you might catch from us but ya, Gini is i think one of Klopp’s favour players.

17th January 2020 at 7:17 pm #60836AnonymousMaybe it’s the above kind of comment that nil says is arrogant. Tell me Mav, did that read negatively to you at all? Honestly now, not just like “no mate yer ok”.

18th January 2020 at 12:41 am #60838We’d have to lose 5 more games than city to throw away our lead. I can see city going on a massive winning streak but I can’t see them going undefeated & us losing 5 games. I’m not calling it but gee it’s unlikely we’d lose it from here & even more so if we win the next 2. Drop points in the next few games though and maybe some doubt will creep in and city will get a slight sniff.
All if’s and buts though & the main thing for me is we look very solid at the moment & the togetherness with everyone involved with the club is the best I’ve seen it. Here’s to 3 points against our arch rivals.
Take care lads (and lassies if there’s any on here)._____________________________

As for what you’ve said, it falls totally in line with what i;ve been saying about these next 2. I think if we can just feckin win them.. like COME ON!!… then I think the title is ours man.

18th January 2020 at 11:03 am #60853Cheers Mak, would love to post more but struggling to find the time. Daughter just finished high school, young fella in the early teens & being a handful & add to that itβs summer here in Oz so Iβm taking every opportunity to head to the surf (Iβm about 1.5hrs from the coast) or taking the jet ski for a hoot to try and make the most of the warmer weather.
Add to that when fox sports lost the rights to the EPL over here I canβt even watch the games live any more & just getting the scores in the sports news has taken away a bit of the passion for the games if you know what I mean. I used to get up at stupid oβclock to watch the games live & loved it (the minister for war & finance & the kids werenβt as enthusiastic, esp when I started ranting & raving to myself) bit now I just get the scores.
Anyway hers to a great comfortable win v the mancs & a couple more straight after that so we can live a bit more comfortably on the run in.
Take care all._____________________________

19th January 2020 at 12:18 am #60930Just under $15.00 a month or free with an Optus package in place in excess of $85.00 ie. mobiles/land line/internet. Viewed via the net on my Smart TV. Works well for me and also has the Champions League and Europa matches, International matches in addition to the Premier League and even the women’s club stuff not that I watch any of that. Having said that NBN is about to come in where I live and my Optus TV is about to basically disappear so it looks like I will have to change over to Fox so I can get all the NRL and the mountains of cricket too.

19th January 2020 at 3:45 am #60933AnonymousMaybe try and watch the Utd game on stream , Oz. You’ve got multiple reasons to not watch games, so this is very understandable but for me, we win tomorrow and that’s it. The title is coming to Anfield. It’s a tough game and we’ll have to fight for the 3 points but I now think they are pretty definitive, if taken. I’m not sure what’s going on with City. They have serious injuries at the back but their key players further up the pitch were there.
Anyway man whatever happens, I hope you catch the game somehow!

19th January 2020 at 5:39 am #60934This can be hit or miss but chances are a live link will be found on here. As it is is a thai site though an English commentary could be hard to get.

19th January 2020 at 9:44 am #60943AnonymousNo Sean, I demand you relax if we beat Utd today. The days of freewill on this forum are over.
Seriously though, ya, kinda nervous about today but I’m excited to see just how charged an atmosphere we’re going to have. I don’t think I’ll be the only fan who thinks that a win today is getting one hand on the trophy.

19th January 2020 at 9:58 am #60944Chelsea1967: mate I got pay tv on so I could watch the football & conned the boss into Netflix as well so paying more for sport is a no go. Thanks for that link Iβll give it a crack as Iβd love to watch the game, Iβll just put it on mute.
Mak I genuinely miss not getting up early as I loved watching us, especially that year we just went all out attack. Although we werenβt really strong at the back I enjoyed watching that immensely. That said Iβm more than happy watching us run away with the league so hopefully it continues & we can add our arch rivals to the list of victories we have mustered up._____________________________

24th January 2020 at 6:15 am #61614AnonymousThis team just grinds out narrow wins thanks mainly to their front 3 take them away and you have a bottom league team, you cannot even compare this team to those great Liverpool teams of the past.

24th January 2020 at 8:38 am #61646Now now Mak he has a point. He said take away the front 3, didn’t say replace them, so effectively playing with 8 men and no one up front. So I agree we would probably be a bottom of the league team.
Good, intelligent post Moos, keep it up!

28th January 2020 at 2:48 pm #62334AnonymousYou lads remember the absolutely bizarre reports that Wijnaldum wanted to leave?
“It’s difficult to say” – Gini Wijnaldum reveals uncertainty over Liverpool future
Reading between the lines, it sounds like something is up. I couldn’t possibly imagine what that might be, as he seems to love it here. He considers Klopp to actually be a friend, not just a manager. He went into detail about this before and it really seemed to me that he would be a candidate to join staff after his playing days are up…
My old decent guess is that the club haven’t offered Gini a contract extension. Or that they’ve low-balled him… which I just could not believe they would do. Less than 18 months though is definitely not optimal. Whatever is going on there, they’ve got to sort out and make one of our best players happy.

30th January 2020 at 10:35 am #65331Gomez is looking very good again. His speed is such an asset.
Read this on the Echo blog, it’s pretty incredible:
“Liverpool have conceded just eight goals in the last 35 Premier League matches that the England international has featured in.”
