21st February 2024 at 10:32 pm #212707Nil, how can you still call Kelleher a liability? He’s been excellent since he’s had to come in.
He’s not Alisson, he’s a backup keeper so it’s not fair to compare him to him but you see the saves he’s made and the plays he’s setting up.
He’s not a liability at all, he’s been crucial in us winning these games.
Kelleher is a fantastic backup keeper and we’re lucky to have him.Anyway, I came here just to say that Klopp began by turning doubters into believers. I think he’s leaving by doing the exact same thing.

21st February 2024 at 10:43 pm #212710Mak I in the past had to step in as an outfield winger and striker to play in goal. Mate, even I know rule of god thumb is to block my near post.
That’s my issue with Kelleher; Kelleherl: don’t casual it please man; you Sir are in a Biggest Final Sunday. No Mickey Mouse Cup; an Honour to Gain for one of The Greatest In Universe!

22nd February 2024 at 11:09 pm #212719Nil, what do you mean with the caps “no casual please” ?
why are you abusing a backup player of ours who’s made saves in the past few matches that have helped us get maximum points?
He’s setup several goals too. I don’t get it man.Can you please communicate to me what it is about him that you don’t like?
I share any kind of worry that we won’t have Alisson in goal. Anyone would.
Considering that it’s not easy to keep a high quality backup keeper at any club, I think we’re really lucky to still have Kelleher, so when he has come in and done so well, I just don’t understand this Nil.Can you please go into detail what it is you expect from a backup keeper and why he isn’t good enough?
I say this because not only is he good (IMO) he’s also got a style that matches what we need, far better than the one that you want to come in… amongst other issues there that I don’t think I need to get into… yet anyway.

23rd February 2024 at 6:06 pm #212722Hello Mak, sorry for the late reply. Been busy with work.
I’ll try and answer your question. Essentially, I have to say I’d echo everything I’ve already put. Harsh yes, and nothing personal towards Kelleher as I like him but ultimately, we need somebody who is occupying the most important position on the pitch to step up and really show care in play.
Near post for example is bread and butter and he shouldn’t be leaving any gaps. We have huge games mate. I’m sad Alisson is out. Klopp has to put his faith just like us. I just dont want is to gift any goals. I Dont too like being a goal down then having to come back. It’s part and parcel, but not always settling when watching as a supporter. Our defensive unit the pleasing observation is that it has been more resilient and stepped up. For what it’s worth I do want Kelleher to do well bu he really does have to bring his A Game 👍🏻👍🏻⚽️

25th February 2024 at 8:39 pm #212809There is no Midfield Overrun 🙂 Man, I have never been for a while so Happier and Full Of Joy with Endo and Mac Allister 🙂 🙂 🙂 Hearts 🙂
Caicedo was a Rabbit in Headlights.
Reminder Reinforced Once Again that don’t succumb to Peer Pressure (Secondary School) work or any walk of Life. In this case MEDIA!!!!!!!
Yes Sky Sports and their Transfer Day Deadline. Stress. No Wonder Klopp is saying Bye Bye to this Nonsense lol. You think he needs that when he can Enjoy a Beer.
He has Nothing to Prove.
Loving This Moment and Relishing EVERY GAME HEADING OUR WAY 🙂 🙂 🙂
Lol, we’ve saved Money in the Piggybank 🙂

25th February 2024 at 11:24 pm #212814Ya, I was looking for clarification on what you meant by that repeated phrase though. “no casual please” is very non-specific, but luckily you did clarify it a bit at least.
I will say that I guess I just disagree with you. I don’t feel he’s ever just phoning it in. We’re a bit too used to having the worlds best keeper in goal though, I think. Other keepers make a lot more mistakes or make fewer brilliant saves.Kelleher has been brilliant ever since he stepped in for Alisson IMO. I don’t see what you’re seeing in these games where he’s helped us walk away with all 3 points, or a cup.
I know you said this before the cup part, I am not going to suggest otherwise mate, it just fit the sentence 😛I said before that I understood your reservations though, as he has had games before this batch where he hasn’t been at his best. I guess we’d put the reasoning down differently is all.
anyway, we won the LC. now we have to hope to get the lads rested up for the FA Cup and to hopefully have 1-2 back for that.
We really are going to need to start seeing players returning from injury, not just going out on it.Looking at Gravenberchs horror tackle from Caicedo again, I am worried that he’s done his ankle ligaments. I’m awaiting the worst there.

25th February 2024 at 11:30 pm #212815As for ytour last post. The funny thing is that I don’t think it was media hype at all. This summer (until the latter stage) felt like a compete disaster to me. I didn’t need to hear any of the nonsense babbling of sky to be fearful.
what we have seen is delayed but all the same good action from the people in charge of transfers Klopp’s genius. Klopp’s genius can always put a good spin on things, and we’re going to see a noticeable lack of “luck”, or it’s neighbour when he leaves.
We’re going to suddenly remember what failed transfers are like again.
we’re going to see players not really giving everything again.I say this before we get a replacement but the odds are against us there.
There are no other Klopps out there. Ya, maybe Alonso will come to us and continue on his trajectory. or maybe he’ll be a one season wonder, or go and be this unstoppable force somewhere else. The point is that what we have now is special and rare, and we’re likely to not have a manager like Klopp again in our lifetimes.

26th February 2024 at 5:59 pm #212825Unfortunately, we have new injury problems in Gravenberch and now Endo who of late has been excellent for us. Zobo not back till Saturday (hopefully). It looks like the kids will get another chance to shine for our Cup match next week. 12 players now. It just seems to rise than drop in numbers.

27th February 2024 at 8:48 am #212829Are you thinking of the 31st of March? As in when City play Arsenal?
We have City on the 10th. I hope that’s enough time to get a good number of the lads back but I worry that it’s a week or 2 too soon. Jesus, it just feels very soon.
We will probably have to beat City this time too, which I worry big time about. I’m not entirely convinced that we can do it if we had a full-strength team, maybe.
