2012 at the time was an incredible feeling. The first time Man City won it after many decades. Can’t believe it’s 10 years.

22nd May 2022 at 8:27 am #196214I don’t know why I have been feeling this way in all honesty, but today for me it’s just about signing off, getting through the final day, over and done with and looking ahead for next Saturday.
I want us to beat Madrid and finish the season on a massive high. That would be the icing.
The league we can properly put together a challenge next season. We need our players fit and ready.
I think our line up today will be similar to Tuesday. Maybe Divi gets his one final appearance at Anfield and he deserves it. That will be real emotional. He’s been a wonderful servant for us and will always be well received and looked after.
Good win yesterday for the legends. Let’s just try and get through today.

22nd May 2022 at 8:59 am #196215Nil lit line up will nearly be man for man fir Saturday Iβd say mate. It be the same team as the final as sone players have not played in over a week. No point risking vvd or Salah though but I get you mate. No injuries today be great.
Good performance, get the win and we enjoy the build of the cl week.

23rd May 2022 at 10:20 am #196283Onto the hindsight of ifs, buts and maybes, we failed to take 3 points off City home and away. Also:
Spurs
ChelseaI had belief when Coutinho scored yesterday and we should have found the net earlier. Incidentally, anybody else notice our last 3 league matches prior to Wolves have seen us fall behind; Spurs, Villa, Saints. Spurs was too late for us to turn around.
But even unravelling all these what could have been, we still finished with only 1 point and we were very close. No team has even reached what we have in the 90 point mark. It’s a killer blow as in the last 3 years, we could have won one more Title.
Always hurts not being able to celebrate because of Covid19. We need a powerhouse midfielder this summer. Somebody no-nonsense with drive from the middle and will get us out of a hole. Milner is getting on and so is Hendo. We’re too predictable at times using the wings either side.
We have to try and get the job done Saturday, but even so, once the dust settles, we’ll feel more Thankful than what could have been.

29th May 2022 at 3:47 pm #196431Looks like Mane’s played his last game for the Reds. What a way to end unfortunately, but he can leave with his head held up high it goes without saying. He is a Legend for us.

8th June 2022 at 9:30 pm #196546Well, from the outside, I’m hopeful so far in us striking a deal with Nunez. Seems of happy vibes π
My thoughts essentially this summer is modifying our squad which I think realistically, we’re either reaching or have reached that point. Wholeheartedly with a deep breath typing this, it’s a Godsend, Jurgen has extended his stay with us.
Mane away looks on the cards, but it’s natural for FSG to hold out for more dosh (they can get a few more playing years out of him).
My personal Aspiration is for 3 New Fresh Faces. Top Draw. I’m Happy and in Acceptance of Salah Leaving Us. It’s Ultimately (and always has and will be) about LIVERPOOL.

22nd June 2022 at 11:31 pm #196739Starting to sink in with Mane; feel absolutely gutted. He was such an Influence and made a Super difference to our progress in recent years.
I think it will hurt us even more.

22nd June 2022 at 11:56 pm #196740I think Mane stated the AFCON win was the biggest trophy he won, ahead of anything at club level, so I think Senegal is where his affinity is strongest for. Hence you have him saying he’ll do what the Senegalese people want him to do. Added to that, I do wonder if the ‘rivalry’ with Salah on the pitch was a factor in him wanting another challenge somewhere, somewhere where he may have a bit more freedom in where he wants to play on the pitch? Or be top dog? Will he potentially be Lewandowski’s replacement and so be the no.1 striker there?

23rd June 2022 at 12:30 am #196741Been saying this for years but Klopp makes players play above their grade. It will be very interesting to see how Mane goes at Bayern. I think he will be good but I suspect he won’t perform as well as he did at Liverpool.
I never subscribed to the belief that Gini was world class. I thought he was a very good player but Klopp just had a knack of getting players to play at 150% of their ability. Coutinho is another example. For me, there are actually very few truly world class players at Liverpool. Klopp is the key and without him the real players are exposed._____________________________

23rd June 2022 at 9:20 am #196744Perhaps one way of looking at this in the long run is that we’ve lost a player affiliated with Afcon which was always going to be a degree of concern to the club as far as fitness went. Salah will see out his contract, so that will be 2.

23rd June 2022 at 4:39 pm #196749Playing for Bayern in Germany is a bit like playing for PSG in France. A near guarantee of winning the league.

4th July 2022 at 5:05 pm #196862First day back in training for the camp. From what I’ve seen on Twitter, things look positive. Keita close to signing a new deal. Ox looks good in training and looks like he’s ready to fight for his place. I would like to see him given that rejuvenation chance.
Luis Diaz, what can I say and of course, Mo finally putting pen to paper.
I reckon we already have the squad that’s ready for another challenge π
