16th March 2022 at 6:50 am #195026β½οΈ Huge game for us today. Without sounding too confident, just waking up and genuinely have a good feeling about tonight. Tiago Alcantara the first Liverpool player coming to my mind. It’s the midfield battle 2π
Fixtures have been rearranged and the Man United home game is Tuesday April 19th Sky 8pm.
There is scope for us to leapfrog Manchester City and climb further ahead on points. I think both Newcastle and Aston Villa will have a say in the Title Race, but the significant influence is how we juggle this with Fa Cup and Champions League.β½οΈπΉπ°ππ»

16th March 2022 at 7:07 am #195027Tough game nil. Tonight will tell us a lot about ourselves.
I still think we need to win every game to win the league

16th March 2022 at 7:09 am #195028Winning the PL title is in Liverpool’s hands now,win the game in hand tonight v Arsenal, win at the Etihad and then match City’s results and the title is Liverpool’s. The game at the Etihad is the crucial one and will probably decide the destination of the title.

16th March 2022 at 11:13 am #195030Yeah very tough Sean but certainly not beyond this Liverpool team. I think the game at the Etihad will probably be the critical one and may decide the title. Very difficult to separate the two teams currently albeit Liverpool seemingly have the tougher fixture list.

16th March 2022 at 12:38 pm #195037Sean. I suspect Liverpool will be too strong for Arsenal.Bit annoyed your game clashes with Chelsea’s CL game but I will try and catch up with your game at some stage.

16th March 2022 at 12:41 pm #195038It strikes me that our form is heavily dependent on the form of our front players and I still think the form of those players played a bigger part in our awful form last season over winter rather than us missing defenders. And in recent games, we’re not performing particularly great and again I think the form of Mane, Jota and to some extent Salah have not been at the very top levels. That’s why Diaz has been so important. Wonder if Bobby might play tonight at some point just to freshen things up? Or does he even bring in Elliot at some point?

17th March 2022 at 2:21 pm #195060True enough Adlab although City are still probably slight favourites given the 1 point difference, the game at the Etihad and a slightly easier run in. Very difficult to call it though.

18th March 2022 at 7:52 pm #195079Sean, (from the other thread)
very happy mate. Just feel thankful and slightly scared with how everything is going well. Personally inside, I get nervous and a bit anxious at times in case things go wrong, but that’s something of course we have to be prepared for.
What’s struck me more than before of late is for the first time in ages bar the new injury to Trent, we have available fit players to choose from and lots ready to step in. Really happy mate that we’re getting the job done and doing what needs to be done.
Cheers

20th March 2022 at 8:51 am #195082Looking forward to the Forest game today. Great ground, the City ground. It’ll be pretty emotional too. Gotta get the job done main thing. I would like to see ‘out of the clothing rack’ some of the players that have been used for a while. Good for them to get some game time as long as the balance is right.

24th March 2022 at 3:43 pm #195139I see on the Liverpool site some are conjecturing Liverpool getting Β£100m plus for Salah?
Getting Β£100m/Β£100m plus for Salah if he eventually leaves Liverpool as good as he is at 30 in June he will have a limited sell on value which makes Β£100m plus optimistic imo.
The big buyers from Spain are now limited Iβm not sure who would bid Β£100m/Β£100m plus for Salah.
Best option for both parties is a compromise agreement and Salah staying at Liverpool time will tell though.
I will be disappointed if Salah is lost to the PL heβs such a great watch.

24th March 2022 at 5:32 pm #195143I agree with the overall sentiment Nine. Be great mate if the resolution was him staying on with terms and conditions suited all round.

27th March 2022 at 12:00 pm #195155Fantastic to see some footage of the Liverpool Legends. Some faces in particular on the Teamsheet that were playing a quarter of a century ago – long lost faces like Bjorn Tore Kvarme and Patrick Berger. My god they still look good.
Dirk Kuyt looks reborn and youthful. Milan Baros I eventually recognized, I thought he was Aguero’s big brother lol. He’s beefed up! π
What an era in the Noughties.
