Adlab, you’re too kind. My deep down realistic thought is Man City winning 2 trophies.
As long as I see Liverpool compete tooth and nail; that in itself is a trophy for me, ala 2018/19.
Cheers

11th March 2022 at 7:56 pm #194916Klopps comments throw it back to Salah again but going by good sources, he wonβt accept current offer. Be very disappointed if he goes but no one is bigger then the club and the grass isnβt always greener as couthino, can and winji

11th March 2022 at 8:30 pm #194917Sean, Hi mate. Agree completely. A new deal we hope can happen, but it seems like Salah’s agent is trying to rinse out. Forget FSG. Liverpool are not about that. They are not about just 1 player.

11th March 2022 at 10:20 pm #194919Me too mate. The Club Will Always Come First.
I think this is largely driven by his Agent, but FSG and Liverpool won’t Budge, Rightly.

13th March 2022 at 11:35 am #194966They should need sorting quickly to be fair. It seems like there’s been tensions between Klopp and this whole saga that spilled on the pitch yesterday. Klopp at times was a very angry man.

13th March 2022 at 1:21 pm #194967Alison is on 175k ..de grea on 350k
Sancho on 300 k mane 175k
Salah agent laughing emoji just stirs the pot. We arenβt going to pay him so itβs time to sell. No talks since dec. no one is bigger then the club. He deserves to be on big money but I support the club in not being held to ransom nil mate
If he goes to psg then you know itβs sll money.

13th March 2022 at 1:46 pm #194968The Salah situation sounds a bit like call my bluff. Still plenty of time to sort it out ultimately there will probably be a compromise agreed.
If it doesn’t work out then Salah will be sold I’m not sure for how much he will be 30 in the Summer so there is no resale value I doubt it will be for more than Β£100m it could be less because some of the usual takers probably won’t be in for him.
I was disappointed with Salah’s agent and his reaction to Klopp’s press conference.
Difficult one to predict but if I was a betting man I would put money on Salah staying at Liverpool.

13th March 2022 at 1:54 pm #194970Sean, I feel exactly the same on this mate. The club comes first and the principles.
Jadon Sancho is on 300k excess, the highest paid Brit player. It’s crazy. It’s not a now problem as John Barnes used to take 10,000 a week late 90s and a lot of the time he was on the bench.
I get FSG. There’s not a clear correlation of guaranteed star performances and goals if a player is paid the highest.
There is no confidentiality anymore. This is Personal Information being exposed (whether accurate or not).
We can’t and shouldn’t be giving into those sort of wage demands. We will have to find a new player if we are force to sell.

13th March 2022 at 1:56 pm #194971Nine, agree mate. He still has playing years ahead of him at top level, but we can’t and shouldn’t really be held to ransom and it’s probably better economically to let him go. Of course, he would be a loss and of course his 20+ goals, but we would have to learn to deal with that and find somebody else.
Plus, we have now Diaz and Jota too.
