Mak, yeah went to sleep straight after the Penos mate. Definitely the best option. Too tired from my early start yesterday and one of my worst experiences this season watching the Reds. Can’t say that I enjoyed last Sunday either. It’s our defending at the moment that worries me.

On the other hand, I’m made up we’re through to the Semis.

Was disappointed we didn’t go a bit stronger as it’s a qtr final and a chance of silverware . I can understand as we have loads of games but delighted we got through.

Jota is turning into a real player. Morton had done well but really needs to beef up

Spurs really got at him Sunday and he needs to get stronger but a really good prospect and great experience

I’ve always liked kelleher. Great moment for him

Yeah Sean, that’s my very mindset about the Trophy. We haven’t won these cups for a long time now. I don’t get this notion of ‘priorities’. We should treat every cup competition with the same merit.

We have 2 legs thankfully to try and get through to a final.

I remember mentioning both Nevez and Jota 3 years ago when both were at Wolves. Nevez still there. Jota played I think wide and also supplied passes. He’s essentially now become the focal point in the box. We need him.

Morton will need a season and hopefully he beefs up and establishes himself.

Nil, my own idea on things is quite the opposite. I cant stand that there are 2 legs and I also do think we have to prioritise when we have a smallish squad (well, in terms of quality players).

Some of the fringe players got some good game time though, which is valuable. Delighted for Minamino.
