Also delighted to see us get the win today. To beat 97 points is absolutely incredible. I thought I’d never see a Liverpool side reach that high again in my life and here we have gone and done it the very next year. If Origi is indeed gone (and I’m pretty sure he is), that was a great way to sign off. I also wondered if Milner being Captain was something similar but with Hendo injured, he would have been anyway, so we’ll not know for a while.

I know Sean. My point was I guess, would Milner have worn the armband if Henderson were fit. I think there’s a chance he might have but with everything we’ve heard from and about Liverpool not looking to buy seemingly anyone this summer, maybe we won’t be bending over backwards to let Milner go to Leeds. I can’t remember his contract situation but if we let him go, they would definitely have to go and sign someone. I already think that we probably should if we let both Lallana and Shaqiri go but hey.

Nah it was my mistake for posing a pointless question. As for him leaving/staying, I don’t know how much there was to it but the word always was that if Leeds got promoted, Milner would consider a move back. Maybe it was all fan talk. I guess we’ll see.
