Likely outcomes in this 2019/20 season:
outcome one:Liverpool to be the champions.and to win the Fifa world club champions. i expect the Liverpool fan base to still be humble as they are now. in particular Mr Nil, because the other Liverpool lads here. Sean, Mak, HH and 3ps are cool guys.
Outcome two: United to qualify for the Champions league via winning the Europa league. many will give me the stick on this one. but i will stick with that. because my belief is that Emery won’t be around until may.
Outcome three: City to finish the runners up, reach the Champions league final( i don’t know if they win or else thereafter) and win the league cup.
Outcome 4: Sheffield United to finish in the Europa league places. not many thought this could happen including myself.
Outcome 5: Southampton, Watford and Norwich City to face relegation. again i wasn’t expecting Watford to be in the mix for relegation.
Outcome 6: Leicester to finish in the CL places. that means one of Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea have to miss.
Outcome 7: Sadio Mane to win the PFA and FWA in clean swoop.( and the lad deserves it by the way)
Outcome 8: Mason Mount to wim they young PFA player. and win the FA cup.
Outcome 9: Brendan Rodgers to win the Manager of the year( Klopp also deserves, but what Rodgers has done with Leicester is unbelievable).
Outcome 10:The Ajax Coach to come and manage Arsenal.

I like. I think though there are some people like the green eyed monsters waiting for us to tumble over. They in the back of their minds would love Liverpool where they are.
This is the best ever mate I’ve seen since 1990. Pep’s put in his place and deep down, he knows it, but it doesn’t really constitute for anything right now than just mere facts and stats.
Thankyou. If you’re saying what you’re saying, a Runners Up Spot with either of us winning the FA Cup would Guarantee a Meeting in the 2020 Community Shield π

25th November 2019 at 1:52 am #54150AnonymousAppreciate that Chelseaman, as for Liverpool’s fans being humble, I think we’ve gotten ahead of ourselves a few times before. Well, it feels more like we got carried along more than anything but ya, we’re all just watching every match thinking of it as 3 points and 3 points only.
Chelsea and Leicester are a breath of fresh air though. I think they will take the other 2 CL places. They are miles better than the rest but you can’t count out Jose I guess. If he really clicks then Spurs might shock people.
I came across a website that ranks teams and it went further, it gave odds of teams winning the league (not betting odds but probability) and they said 85% that Liverpool win the PL…. What a load of nonsense. I know these things can;’t really factor in the whole melting pot that is psychology over an extended challenge and everything that goes with it but seriously, have SOMETHING in there to offset it. In my mind, we’re 65%. Anyway i thought I;d share that madness with ye. what do you lads think?
PFA for me has got to be Van Dijk. We’ve all got opinions and although I’d have Mane very very high on that list too, Van Dijk is the best CB in the world for me, in fact that i have seen in a long long time. Mane is a world class player but is he the best attacking player in the world? He’s definitely up there, as he scores important goals, not just numbers… I love Mane and hope he finishes his career with us. He’s a great character on top of it all too and a great role-model for kids. Maybe I’ll change my mind as the season goes..
As for Manager of the year. What Rodgers is doing is incredible but so far, Klopp is the manager of the year, for me anyway. We all love the underdog and the person who over=performs with an unfancied side but if Klopp can keep Liverpool going in this insane trajectory (I’m sure we’;ll have at least 1 dip tho) then it’s got to be him.
delighted for Rodgers so far though, I keep saying he got a raw deal here at Liverpool. A bit like the Poch situation. Just happy to see him bouncing back and he’s adding serious quality to the PL, along with Frank, whom without these boys would be a pretty boring PL season. Ya, everyone loved it last season but you don’t want your league to become a locked in 2 horse race.
Having said that, don’t get too close to us you blue feckers ye π 3 blue V 1 Red! i hadn’t considered that before.
anyway a good thread idea, sorry my post is so rubbish π

I think if Liverpool wins, you will look back and say, Mane was the most decisive player in your team. people hype Salah and VVD over him because of their name. but this guy almost single handedly took you to the title. he has been scoring for you the most important goals. and when Liverpool needed a hero he is there to rescue. and i can’t think a better candidate. if not him, i would give Jamie Vardy because like Mane he is having an incredible season with an unfancied team at the age of 32 can you imagine?
As for the manager of the month, i would still stick with Brendan Rodgers, because having lost his best CB and the vultures circling around his squad, he steadied the ship to a higher fishing ground, more than Leicester bargained for. and it’s insane to say that his team are the closest to Liverpool in the league than any other team. in that sense i would have to give him a credit for his achievement. and he deserves nothing short of winning the league manager award.

25th November 2019 at 9:31 am #54188Chelsea man, we really wonβt get a better chance to win the league but I fully expect city go on a good run now. They can easily put a huge winning run together. I think they will beat utd, arsenal and Leicester in their next few games
Laporte be back in jan. Chelsea are my favourites for 3rd. They just need to shore up at the back and get Rudiger back. Zouma can just be a bit to clumsy for me. Tomori is only going to get better
Leicester are Doing very well. They arenβt conceding goals which is very unlike Rodgers teams. Heβs doing a great job but they have poor away to the bigger sides
Liverpool are playing very well at home but we are scrappy away from home and conceding goals. Few injuries could really hinder us
We keep going though and keep winning games but we will have a bad spellFit me the world championship is big. Itβs another trophy. One which we have not won.
It may hamper us going into jan but I really want to win it_____________________________

25th November 2019 at 9:32 am #54189Just to play along, I’ll stick some predictions up!!
1) Top 2 will be Liberoools and City, in that order.
2) Leicester will finish higher than Chelsea.
3) Spuds will finish higher than Sheffield, UnYooUtd and the Goonies.
4) The race for the 4th spot will end up being a lot closer than people think, with Spuds doing their best to claw back the gap but coming up short (but as the Spuds and Franks Young Boys need to play each other twice, they will be pivotal matches! Whoever gets the most points there will be 4th!)
5) Sir Harry will finish top scorer.
6) Spuds will reach the final of the FA CUP but lose.
7) No English team will make the final of the European Cup._____________________________

25th November 2019 at 10:13 am #54192I would agree with you as the for the fourth place will be competitive. that is why i left it in my prediction. but i disagree with you on the top scorer. Jamie Vardy will win it this year in my opinion and you don’t need need to be a rocket scientist to spot that from how clinical he has been this season. and how the Leicester set up is built around his strengths. i would also reckon both of the Manchester clubs will reach the European cup finals. United to win the Europa, but i can’t say how the City game will end up.

25th November 2019 at 11:04 am #54193AnonymousBoring Monday then… ????? ? I personally prefer to read my rune stones and seek the advice of shamans before logging onto bet365 and fingering Ray Winston’s flaring nostrils before making my bets… Sometimes, I watch Mystic Meg porn videos… like these.

25th November 2019 at 11:29 am #54195With regards to top scorer, Sir Harry is starting to show signs of life like what he was in the 16/17 & 17/18 seasons, basically in the run-up to the World Cup. As any Spud-nut will tell you, he was very average (by his standards) for the 18/19 season and the start of this season.
Like to think I’m not being that biased with this prediction… π
(Of course, depends on how his ankles hold up!)
