There is some excellent young talent coming through now for England so I’ll be watching definitely. Especially considering we’ve not had any football for a few weeks now aside from the Community Shield. Apart from at centreback, we have some very good options everywhere on the pitch.

I didn’t expect the turn of events in terms of play to be anything different, certainly anything spectacular given the array of good players. But it’s how Southgate chooses to approach the game.

Yeah that’s disappointing. They’re both just kids at 18 and 20. Southgate right to take action and both clubs hav condemned their behaviour. Really nothing more to it than that. They’ll hopefully learn from it.
