Another meeting with Chelsea. Most importantly an experience for supporters for a Wembley Final. 1st in 6 years.
Good away win and momentum built.
Well Done Liverpool ๐

20th January 2022 at 9:44 pm #193675That was a very good performance. And it didn’t look too gung-ho either. We generally kept the ball well. It looked more like one of our title winning season games. All very controlled. So it does beg the question, why haven’t we seen that throughout this season?

20th January 2022 at 9:45 pm #193676Thought we controlled the Game after we scored the first. Jota will only Keep getting better under Klopp. Brilliant signing. Fabhino excellent tonight and our two full backs are up there with the best around.
Really tough game v Chelsea but absolutely delighted to get to the final .
Ye mikuis, kelliher is very composed , excellent on the ball and heโs done very well any times heโs been brought in

21st January 2022 at 1:23 pm #193679Had a quick read of the Arsenal site they’re all very down on there with last night’s performance and very critical of Arteta but it was a very professional performance by Liverpool it will be a big challenge for Chelsea to play against Liverpool in the Final on the 27/02.
Hopefully by then Chelsea might have found a little bit of form.๐

21st January 2022 at 1:59 pm #193680What I don’t get with Arsenal is why they seem to have gone down this road of buying lots of young promising players without buying any world class ones. I know when Rodgers came into Liverpool, on the surface you could argue the club did similar – but the club had still recently bought Suarez. They also bought Sturridge, Coutinho, etc along with promising young players. Arsenal don’t seem to have done this, so they just don’t have the quality to compete at the higher levels, and because they are still a big club, that then puts the pressure on Arteta. If Arsenal had fallen way down in recent years, or had even got relegated, I could understand the direction they’ve taken. But it’s almost like they’ve deliberately pressed a full reset button on the whole club as though they’ve been through a crisis. In short, they have not acted like a big club should – that doesn’t mean they should have gone on big name spending splurges – but they should have still targeted world class players. Their approach seems to have been too safe and cautious.

21st January 2022 at 3:06 pm #193681Good example is Ben white mikuis. 50m, ridiculous money. Instant karma for him last night after laughing at minamino last week. He was roasted a few times by jota. I never trust a football who doesnโt like watching football or follow football and thatโs Ben white.
I donโt think Arsenal can attract works class players to be honest. They have some good young players especially saka and smith Rowe but they came through the academy
