No problem Ed, it was inappropriate words, although it could have been made in the heat of the moment. I would still like to plead for leniency. A warning will do the trick.

6th January 2022 at 9:15 am #192977Did anyone else see that look of reservation on Contes face in the 2nd half, almost as if he was thinking “Goodness me what have I done committing to this job”.

6th January 2022 at 9:24 am #192980I didnβt realise conte took Chelsea to court and got 26m?
He did a great job there but looks like he left on very bad terms
How did Chelsea fans react to him last night?

6th January 2022 at 10:08 am #192981Sean I think he got what he was due in terms of his contract. He fall out with the board for a few reasons so they sacked him but it wasn’t because of lack of the teams general performance as far as I know.

6th January 2022 at 1:42 pm #192993Sean, from memory Chelsea’s position was that Conte contributed to his own downfall and consequently held back from paying him off. The Β£26m as I understand it covered Conte all his staff and the legal costs.
Great Coach but very volatile and when Conte doesn’t get his own way he throws his toys out of the pram and not just at Chelsea the last 12 months at Chelsea were painful and tbh I wasn’t disappointed to see him leave.

12th January 2022 at 7:00 pm #193299Oh dear, just saw our line-up for tonight (no idea why Hugo is on the bench!!), and I’m not overly confident… reckon I’ll be watching until Chelski score (as there is now we’re keeping a clean sheet tonight, not with that defense!) as I don’t reckon we could score 3 in a month of Sundays…

12th January 2022 at 7:20 pm #193300The only issue I have with that lineup is Alonso on the bench. I would have preferred him to be on the LWB as he does well every time he faces the Spuds. but I understand our scarcity at LWB. if we come out from this game unscathed, then we could prepare for our biggest game of the season. anything other than a defeat will be good.

12th January 2022 at 9:05 pm #193303Well, the only way back into the game for Spurs is through Chelsea. only if we lose our concentration and give away cheap balls.

12th January 2022 at 9:10 pm #193304Shame 2 penalties and a goal disallowed for Spurs by Var, but yet again a keeper trying to be clever with his passing how many times do we see this every week, I mean don’t these keepers ever learn ?

12th January 2022 at 9:19 pm #193306Switched off after that VAR penalty overturn. Decisions for me are still using up more time than they should causing delays.
All in all from my point of you ‘he’ has gone defensive again and ready to give fouls to preserve their lead. I wonder if they will stand up like this against Man City this Saturday.
Football is becoming boring and predictable except for when Liverpool play with a high line hahaha.
Maybe it’s the January Blues. Believe living and breathing is depressing at the mo.

12th January 2022 at 9:29 pm #193307I’m here having contracted covid. Heaven knows where from. Not a bad game bad to watch.
I actually think the VAR decisions were right BUT what happened to clear and obvious?PS Having had all jabs it’s just like a heavy cold.

12th January 2022 at 9:39 pm #193309Adlab, Hope you get Better mate. My hearing is still impaired which is ultra frustrating along with fever and just feeling run-down. Hard to feel any zest for anything at the moment feeling under-strength.
VAR feels like a destructive negative chore of late. It’s like a destined game spoiler.

12th January 2022 at 9:51 pm #193312Always grateful for getting to a Final. I thought Chelsea got a bit sloppy towards the end.
Strange decision by Conte to not play Lloris?
