26th October 2017 at 6:16 pm #6656100% Adlab we all knew the swamp dwellers would get Bristol AND we would be away to a PL side.
Absolute sham I bet they will be on tv and live broadcast all radio stations as well-The reason β there could be an upsetβ.
Next Maureen will be telling us itβs a valid competition to win as they are almost guaranteed at least a semifinal berth.
FA = JOKE,,,

26th October 2017 at 7:00 pm #6660platt, to be fair it’s the League Cup and has nothing to do with the FA.?
Fabulous draw for Bristol City .

26th October 2017 at 7:14 pm #6663Anonymousso the draw was delayed for 2 hours, it then turns out it was pre-recorded and all the big 4 teams left in avoided each other. this is absolutely disgraceful. they’ve now resorted to not showing it live as it makes it easier to fix and guarantees they get the fixtures they want. i would expect there to be big protests over this.

26th October 2017 at 11:43 pm #6672Definite farce, but we are quite capable of beating Leicester away especially as their board undoubtely want PL survival more than a trophy. Would rather them than Chelsea or United away.

27th October 2017 at 8:54 am #6679I just don’t buy the whole conspiracy that says Utd are given easy draws to get them through. I can absolutely understand the concerns that people have about it appearing that the bigger sides are kept apart but the Utd conspiracy falls apart as soon as you look to the previous round.
City at home to a Championship side
Chelsea at home to a PL side
Spurs at home to a PL side
Arsenal at home to a PL sideSo Utd were the only one of the big sides to be drawn away to a PL side in the last round, hardly a sign of trying to give Utd easy draws! Lucky this round, absolutely, but not in the previous round where City got the easiest draw of the big sides. You win some, you lose some fellas! City should have more than enough to get past Leicester anyway

27th October 2017 at 9:59 am #6689Ed, not too much of the easy draw for United.?
Christmas is coming and the Robins are flying high and looking to poop on Jose’s head at the Gate. ?

27th October 2017 at 4:36 pm #6712Editor try looking at our previous draws. If memory serves it is 11 out of 12 AWAY to premier league teams. Our home match last round? Wolves top of the Championship. Then look at Utd draws in League cup,FA cup and CL. Conspiracy? Who knows. As I said before Blatter admitted Euro draws were fixed. Then there is the World Cup venues.
Then there are the Super Sunday gamex Those fixtures ARE arrangex._____________________________

27th October 2017 at 5:32 pm #6715I used to have doubts about this conspiracy theory in cup draws but yesterdays farce asks serious questions regarding its legitimacy.
Us City fans can’t moan too much about away draws: if my memory serves me right, we had a very good run of home cup draws from 2011 to around 2015. I distinctly remember thinking at the time it was costing me a fortune as both me and my son in all cup schemes._____________________________

28th October 2017 at 7:57 am #6725Adlab, because I have nothing better to do, I’ve just done as you suggested and looked through this site https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/man-city/2014-15/fixtures-and-results.html?no-amp=1
I went back through to 13/14 season to present and counted 16 home games and 16 away games in total with both cups included. The levels of the teams faced are really mixed too.
In fact, season 14/15 City had only home games in the cups with the opponents being Sheffield Wednesday, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday again and Middlesbrough. No doubt there are plenty of tougher draws in there too but I honestly think that’s just the luck of the draw.
I think we all at times like to think out clubs are hard done by and that there’s an agenda against them but I I just can’t see anything in the draws over recent years to suggest anything is untoward.

28th October 2017 at 9:04 am #6727Iβm not usually bothered by the draws but this one stinks. Pre recorded, really? Thatβs just not on and a joke. Then boom out pops Utd st home to by far the weekist side left in. Iβm saying nothing directly but indirectly thatβs amazing it was allowed to stand, itβs not cricket that guys lol
Who cares though, I see Arse, City, Utd and Chelsea in the semis which is a dream for the sponsors

28th October 2017 at 10:50 am #6736Today is the first time this month United are going to be playing at home and today is the first time City are playing away this month. Where’s the conspiracy in regards to that? If United had 4 games at home on the trot and City had 4 away games on the trot, I can imagine a fair few would have a moan and cry conspiracy.

28th October 2017 at 12:35 pm #6737Have to agree with gjblues, we had a very good run of home cup fixtures in the 3-4 yr period. This draw stinks mind just to get the remaining bigger teams in the semis. Also I don’t understand what bloody Twitter has to do with a cup draw.
