17th November 2017 at 7:56 pm #7594banjo, ha, ha, be interesting to see Spurs go 8/9 points in front of everyone else in a title race and see how you react to it I suspect you might go the same way as myself and the City lads it really is never truly over until it’s over mate just ask Kevin Keegan. ?

17th November 2017 at 8:31 pm #7599Goldie, in the event of my Spuds being 8/9 points clear of the rest, playing that sort of football, with that size of quality squad, with that manager, and that burning a hole in his pocket check-book, I’d be living it larger than the Titanic being floated… bet your bottom dollar on odds shorter than City’s….

17th November 2017 at 8:47 pm #7602last ADIPEC 2017, flew out Sunday, flew back today, spent 9 hrs a day on a stand talking bullocks, then 8 hours most evenings drinking beer and talking bullocks… at least the beer was free and the food was good, the weather was bloody hot mind you but the worst thing was putting more pennies in the Pepe Transfer fund…

17th November 2017 at 8:50 pm #7603Banjo, I seem to remember some pretty nervy posts from you over the years when Spurs were in with a shout of achieving something.
I think you have to be a fan of a club leading from the front to appreciate not wanting to get carried away and I can understand the City lads on here not wanting to get to far ahead of themselves just yet.
Revised PL title odds on Monday.

17th November 2017 at 9:16 pm #7607Chucky, a Peroni Nastro mate; ‘the beer’. A nice small Scotch or a Malt too π
And for the subject of ‘dominance’ this is just controlled and contrived theatre stuff from selective posters/football fans that deep down are precious of their own and scared.
Any remote praise is a false and transparent. Nobody wants Liverpool Football Club to win the League Championship other than Liverpool Football Club and their own Supporters.

17th November 2017 at 9:20 pm #7611Anyway, Chelsea, Manchester City and even, Manchester United Managers change. It’s now ‘common practice’ and they don’t stick around too long once the goods have dried out.
Meanwhile, Liverpool Football Club are one of the most successful of clubs, yet no trophies won since 2012, but we are forever living inspite of trials and tribulations, and inspite of the opposition sticking their nose in day in day out projecting our present and future as bleak,
What a world I live in!

17th November 2017 at 9:25 pm #7612newbalance…not true…I do not mind Liverpool winning, I was really pleased for Leicester and hope to see Stoke, Burnley give it a go someday. If a team gets the points at the end of the season…they deserve it and good luck to them. I enjoy the football match, of course I want my team to win but hey-ho its not the end of the world if it does not happen although City have been to the end of the world and Liverpool have not, Stockport, macclefield Southend , we even struggled against them at times

17th November 2017 at 9:44 pm #7615Thanks Brian Blue genuinely appreciated.
In the outside and real world, it’s no so bad. Sadly in the world of Internet forums, certain individuals just can’t help themselves day in day out and ruining it not to mention making people like me feel depressed about it all.
Sincerely good luck to you boys. As mentioned, it’s the activity of forums that’s made me feel like the way I do. Nice and candid people are a hard find.

17th November 2017 at 9:52 pm #7616nb, seriously mate give it a rest there’s nothing on the thread remotely anti Liverpool and for some reason you seem to have got the hump because of the praise that is being given to City even though the majority would agree that that praise is fully justified. And praising City isn’t in anyway detrimental to Liverpool.
Where you get “precious of their own and scared” only you know.
I would much rather it was Chelsea with a 8 point lead but it isn’t to be this season for Chelsea and I’m a football fan first and a Chelsea fan second and I’m happy to admit that I’m enjoying the way City are playing but concerned how it might impact on Chelsea’s chances going forwards.
If these kind of reactions from you to a perfectly sensible football discussion are going to continue sorry to say but I’m going to chuck it in on here.

17th November 2017 at 10:53 pm #7619Evening, gotta day Iβm just like Brian, I canβt see past the next game and donβt or canβt buy into the league is won. But crap Iβm enjoying watching us this season, the way we are playing is simply amazing. I knew SanΓ©, DeBruyne, Jesus, Aguero, Silva, Sterling were good but they are playing at a different level this season. All that said, thereβs boat loads of points left to play for.
Oh and Nine, no youβre not!!!

18th November 2017 at 9:57 am #7623Nil-I do too mate, loved watching Lesta winning the title and I would love to see Burnley or Stoke or Newcastle or Southampton do the same.In fact mate if it was up to me,every year there would a different winner, for every single competition.Even as a United fan, would love to see Liverpool win it this year-if United cannot win it!

18th November 2017 at 10:25 am #7630Mav 73, you’re a better man than I am mate, nice one. I don’t really mind in essence too much who wins it if my team can’t win it as that’s how I’d like my mindset to be with ease, freedom and just to be able to enjoy it.
But as time has gone one and I grown older and having not seen Liverpool win it for 27 years, I’ve perhaps grown a tad bitter and precious – I wish I wasn’t like that and wouldn’t want to be, but love the club dearly and the best feeling when they are top and are winning pieces of silverware.
It’s always refreshing to see somebody who hasn’t won it before win it so this was my reason for choosing Spurs. And I wouldn’t begrudge United winning it too if they did as it would be a great achievement having gone through the transition and the rebuilding process.
Cheers
