I just seen that incident now, it’s not really that obvious as I thought it would be. Although most people thought it was a penalty and the ref has been dropped from the next fixtures.

Fans like myself naturally assumed after the time taken to review that the referral back to the Ref meant he would examine himself from the monitor. But instead he books the Wolves players (odd). Keep gets his judgement wrong that’s impeded the opposition player from making contact, that should have been a straight pen.

Looking back, I must say now that I’m not too convinced on Newcastle. Found the Saturday scoreline flattering because Villa played a high-line. Plus, they themselves had chances of their own away from home like Wolves did yesterday.
Could be for a statement thumping from Manchester City this Saturday Night. Prediction: 4-0

I can only think the penalty wasn’t given because imo I thought that Onana collided with the Wolves player after he had made contact with the ball. Now you can rightly say that would still be a foul anywhere else on the pitch but at the same time did the contact stop him scoring a goal? I think we had a debate some time ago about whether some penalties were a fair punishment or not and maybe this played into their thinking. Would be interesting to hear the VAR discussion. Either way, the officials are reported as being dropped for the coming weekends games.

I went to a different location last week to cover workwise and one of the colleagues I was managing was an 18 year old lad who was a Derby fan and had a Season Ticket to watch them. It was refreshing.
Lucky, lots of kids nowadays tend to be immersed in gaming and these cards that you can buy to download games. They start from £10. I know this is choice by these clubs, but clubs offering this proposition, but a good way to entice kids into following their local team.
Cost of Living and takeaways like your Burger and Chips are priced up like Fish N Chip. Maybe a Treat. £10 these days doesn’t stretch too far.
