If Hazard has ambitions to become the best in the world, which I don`t doubt he has, then Real/Barca should be his destination and aim,not another team in the EPL,be it United or City.

20th December 2017 at 10:00 am #9330Maverick, ha,ha, thankfully Roman has a significant say on all transfers and I can’t see him going for either of those.?

20th December 2017 at 10:01 am #9331If that rumour of Hazard to United for “just” Β£90m is not funny enough, then Moyes claiming that he can manage any club in the world surely must be,no [in the words of the fat Spanish waiter!]?!

20th December 2017 at 10:08 am #9333Cman, if we have to let Hazard go to Real and I still hope we won’t and that Hazard will extend his contract again I would favour Asensio over Isco he’s more like for like and he’s already said he doesn’t want to stay at Real if Hazard comes. But both are great players and Β£100m plus one or other would soften the blow. Cheers 999

20th December 2017 at 10:25 am #9334Mav, Moyes saying things like that is ridiculous. He was bound to lose his next game. Lol

20th December 2017 at 10:32 am #9335I can’t see Hazard wanting to join United. if he decided not to join them when Six Alex was in charge. and we all know the history between him and Mourinho. that is totally nonsense and that price? may be Β£300m could tempt Roman if the deal is United. and i can’t see Hazard wanting to leave London for Manchester either. i suspect if he decides it will be in Spain and Real Madrid will be his preferred destination.
@999, I think both of us agree the need to keep Hazard. but i beg to differ with you on the Asensio one. i would rather have Isco over him. Isco is more closer to him than Asensio. Isco has technical ability like Hazard. and what we want is that a player who can take on the opposition defenders like Hazard. and IMO Isco fits that bill than Asensio. but i may be wrong and you may be right. but if either player we get will have my support.

20th December 2017 at 11:27 am #9336CMan, just my personal preference mate beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.? Isco is a bit more midfield than a wide offensive player to me.
Tbh I would happily take either of them if the worst came to worst as I said they are both good players. Cheers 999

20th December 2017 at 2:16 pm #9342And how can Alli be valued @Β£155m but Hazard only Β£90m?!

20th December 2017 at 3:07 pm #9343Because itβs all made up and simply has no truth to it.
Some of the valuations for average players are crazy. Take Virgil VD from Southampton, 70 million I mean come on

20th December 2017 at 4:42 pm #9346Ok assuming that the Rumours that United is offering Β£90m whilst Real Madrid is offering Β£170m for Hazard are both true. which one would you think Chelsea would entertain? although i would expect Chelsea to put a fight to keep Hazard as much as possible. but if ultimately Hazard wants to move, then how is it possible that one of our rivals and a bitter one plus him being ex Manager who has been saying some unsavory things about our club would offer half of what Real Madrid is offering and expect to sign him? if you add all those dots you will think that, its either baseless or wind up.
As for Madrid wanting him. i don’t think if they will get him on the cheap. now that CR7 is threatening to quit if they bring Neymar or Hazard. which means Real Madrid will be desperate to sign him, and we can demand Β£200m. or just say Β£150m plus Isco /Assensio either. then we can reinvest that money back to the team.

20th December 2017 at 4:50 pm #9349CHM-Exactly mate,Β£70m for VVD but Β£90m for Hazard?! Plus, werent Hazard and Cesc the players accused of “masterminding” Jose 2nd sacking @ Chelsea?!
As for Hazard,it is not a secret he is a Real Madrid fan and ZZ is his boyhood idol,so why would he want to join United instead of Real?!_____________________________

20th December 2017 at 5:03 pm #9351Plus i would also add the style of play that Mourinho favours wouldn’t appeal to Hazard. because Hazard made that confession last season when we switched to 3-4-3. he said ” I’m enjoying my football thanks to the formation that Antonio Conte has deployed. i’m now playing closer to Diego and the goal. in the past i had to dribble past 2/3 players which was hard. but now i have less tracking back which was the case in previous seasons. i concentrate on attacking, scoring goals and making assists”

20th December 2017 at 5:12 pm #9353I hate it when top teams try to buy players from other top10 teams.i.e. RVP to United etc.Hope players like Ozil,Sanchez,Hazard,Kane,Alli,Eriksen,Coutinho, etc, move abroad and not to fellow EPL teams.

20th December 2017 at 5:43 pm #9356Maverick, Β£70m for Van Dijk and Β£90m for Hazard would be funny if it wasn’t so silly.
Whoever at the Sun who wrote that article about Hazard to United for Β£90m must have been drinking to much Vino at the Sun Christmas party!?

20th December 2017 at 6:17 pm #9357And if we can get Β£53m for Costa who wasn’t wanted by the manager and had 2 years left in his contract. plus being troublesome to handle. just imagine what we can get for a fully settled and enjoying his football again Hazard?
