27th January 2018 at 8:51 am #13851Surprised Klopp isn’t getting anyone else in in Jan. I know its hard to recruit but it could be a little risky. Selling Coutiniho this Jan could backfire dramatically if Liverpool were not to get top four. United looked to have secured their top four place by buying Sanchez. The other two spots are too close to call.

28th January 2018 at 9:33 am #13968So Mancity wants Hazard and are prepared to pay £150m? well unless you throw Aguero in to the deal, there will be no deal. but then again that is a tongue-in-cheek. there is no way we should be allowing Hazard to go to City and expect to compete with them?

28th January 2018 at 11:36 am #13983I reckon there’s more chance of City being relegated this season than Roman selling them Hazard without of course Real bid £200m and City bid £300m.?

28th January 2018 at 12:10 pm #13986I did read somewhere 300 or so million supposedly to be spent collectively on De Gea, Kane, and Hazard.

28th January 2018 at 12:19 pm #13987By my calculations, £300mil combined on those 3 would only leave about £20mil to split between the Hazard and Kane fees, after taking out the De Gea fee! I can’t see any club in the world being able to buy those 3 in one window.
That said, Real are almost certainly going to be flexing their muscles come the summer as they’ll not want to appear to have fallen behind the other money clubs. It’s all about appearances and brand image for them.

28th January 2018 at 1:09 pm #13989Ed & Nil-That is WITHOUT sales chaps,so Benzema,Bale,Kovacic,Isco/Asensio,Ceballos,would bring a few ££££ in! Plus add to that Real Madrid are sitting on the money made from sales of Morata and Danilo,on top of all that they are yet to arrange the sale of Rodriguez, which should fetch something between £50m-£60m eazy!

28th January 2018 at 1:47 pm #13990Dunno Goose.. can’t see Disco Isco or Asensio leaving, Bale-Force is a damp squib these days, Benzema isn’t going to have teams falling over him… doesn’t leave much….

28th January 2018 at 2:21 pm #13991Wait and see Kylie, wait and see.If Dzeko can go for £30m,then Benzema will fetch over £40m,Bale will go for over £60m @ least! Isco,Asensio, and Ceballos can surely not be happy,Kovacic too?!

28th January 2018 at 2:34 pm #13993More credible sources are saying that Real have offered Chelsea CR7, and Chelsea turned down citing his dwindling performance and his advanced age. instead Chelsea are holding for Asensio to be included if this deal has to go through. while United are holding out for Bale to be included any deal that will take De Gea to the Spanish capital. tough choice for Real, will they sacrifice the young Asensio for Hazard? i see they will not have any problem in allowing Bale to join United. after all it was said that Bale has turned down Bayern Munichen advances and is in favour for a move to United. Now this link for City will muddy the waters for Madrid. its a good rumours for Chelsea as it drives the price higher up.

29th January 2018 at 3:54 pm #14075This has very much just come in from Sky. Not gonna set up a thread just for this, but looks like Sturridge is on his way out for a loan move to the Baggies:

29th January 2018 at 8:15 pm #14094I get why Sturridge might want to go out on loan but doesn’t it weaken a Liverpool squad chasing a CL place? Especially if they get an injury or two up front. Other than saving in wages I can’t see a benefit to Liverpool.
