He won’t be cheap Jim. He signed a contract extension at Juve last April that’s still got over four years to run. Taking that into consideration, and in today’s (mind-blowingly astronomical) market, you’re probably looking at £130-140m. He’s only 24 and a Pep-type player but as you quite rightly pointed out, I don’t think our owners will entertain those figures.

Yep no way GJ will they pay that. Not when Jesus was picked up for what £27m?and Sane for £37m. Still great young talents out there, just have to rely on the scouts to spot them. Even then they arnt exactly cheap.

gjblues-United and Real were quoted a price of £157m for Dybala! Psg are linked with a £250m double-swoop for Dybala and Sandro.
But Jim is right,if Walcott and Carroll are going for £20m-£30m,the Dybala should go for @ least £150m!

Dybala is a good player but I’m not convinced he’s as good as he should be by now if he’s going to be a world beater. Did anyone read this a few days ago?

It seems he’s quite a frustrating player but Pep may well be the coach to get the best out of him.

Brilliant signing by City in securing KDB. I’m not crazy about the Sanchez signing but swapping a player who can’t get a game for one of our rival’s best players is pretty good business even with the extra wages added on.

Well none of us have any idea what he’s earning Banjo Chucky so not sure what else to say! The only thing we can be almost certain about is that he’s on a bigger contract than Mhki.

Even if it is the reported £1.5mil a week then the above still stands!

Mav, they said that about Aguero – “too small”, etc,. etc.
I watched him a lot when he was about 19/20 at Palermo and you could tell he was a special talent. Since moving to Juve, he’s scored more than a goal every two games – not bad against Italian defenders.
Also, not sure how PSG are circumventing FFP – they paid £200m for Neymar and going to pay £170m for Mbappe.

You see that Luan is available for E18m? He was the player of the tournament for the Copa Liberta. . whatever it’s called 😛

Liverpool are not interested apparently. Surely he’s worth a gamble at that price. it’s his release clause too.

I don’t think our attack needs top quality bolstering but a relatively “cheap” player who could potentially step up a notch once in the PL under a top coach could be very welcome.

I’d still prefer that we added a top CM but we’re not gonna do that and this seems like a really decent opportunity.
