Maverick, true enough mate but Hazard has frequently said he is very happy and settled living where he does and very happy playing for Chelsea he’s also the star man at Chelsea.

He will have a decision to make in the Summer perhaps even before the Summer as to whether he goes to Real or stays at Chelsea as will the club because without he signs a new extended contract it probably makes more sense to sell him to Real this summer for an enormous fee than let him run down his contract.

Whatever happens should Hazard go to Real Chelsea fans have been privileged to have him at the club for 6 seasons and those of us who have been privileged to see him up close and in the flesh have seen that he’s even better than he looks on TV and imo he’s in a small group of the best ever players to grace the Stamford Bridge turf.

But if Hazard goes to Real in the Summer as well he might although I will be sad to lose him he will go with my best wishes and thanks for his wonderful contribution to the club and I think that is probably the view of most Chelsea fans certainly the ones I know anyway. Cheers 999

Nine, I know hazard is a brilliant player. But I do think he has too many games where he just doesn’t turn up? I posted something along these lines after the West Ham game. It wasn’t meant to be a dig, just wanted to know whether you agreed or not with that assessment? Cheers Jim

Jim, Hazard had a poor season after the last Mourinho title win but there were lots of problems that season and he carried an injury for a large part of it once he was injury free he came back strongly.

Hazard hovers between 7 to 10 imo mostly around 8 sometimes 9 or 10. I agree Hazard didn’t have a great game v West Ham but that day the whole team were really poor.

I’ve watched Chelsea now for more years than I care to remember and Hazard is one of the very best I’ve seen in a blue shirt and I suspect most Chelsea fans would say the same. Cheers 999

999-I too, like Jim,do not see much of Hazard on regular basis like you Chelsea fans do,so cannot comment on his game! But if Real Madrid want you as a player,that means you must be doing something right,just like Fellaini @ United,hehe.Cheers.

Maverick, I heard it was a toss up mate and Real don’t know who to go for first Fellaini or Hazard!?

But to be fair they are both very different players and at the job he does Fellaini is more than a half decent player imo. Cheers 999

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane says Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah “is a player I rate a lot” following the Egyptian’s national team coach, Hector Cuper, saying the Spanish club were going to make a move for the 25-year-old.

Hopefully if the above has any truth in it that might stem their interest in Eden Hazard.???

Quite possibly Brian but it would probably cost them north of £300m and there’s reports of Neymar going there too?

Whatever happens I think we will see Real making some significant signings in the Summer as they look to go again.

According to the papers today Chelsea is tracking Ausburg defender Philipp Max who happens to be a leftback by trade. And i’m not surprised that Mourinho also wants him. What does that say about his status? I guess he is pulling up trees in Germany although i don’t watch Bundesliga. May be we can use Baba Rahman who was their former player to tempt them.?
