Are you winding us up Mav. Surely Dave has to one of the greatest creative players to have played in the premiership. He’s a pleasure to watch every week. I know its all about opinions but it really baffles me when other fans don’t rate him.

16th January 2018 at 8:55 pm #12787Jim-I love watching him play mate, but I prefer young players.Take Real Madrid mate for example, would only take Isco and Assensio, not Bale,CR7,Modric,Kroos,Benzema.

16th January 2018 at 8:57 pm #12788I think you are locking out some pretty good players from your club Maverick. Ronaldo, Suarez, Cavani, Silva,Vidal. and when Chelsea signed Makalele he was 30. and we all know what a signing he turned out to be. Edwin Vander Saar was 35 when United got him. remind me how important he has turned out to be? Andrea Pirlo was 31 when Juventus signed him. remind me how important he turned out to be?

16th January 2018 at 9:12 pm #12791Alfie, Sanchez be a great signing for utd. Maya plays out right about for utd and in my opinion slows down play by cutting back in. Sanchez can play left or right. Thatβs pace on either side with martial on the left.
I actually think mykthern be a good signing for aresnal but has to play number ten. Aresnal play 3-4-2-1 at the minute and he be perfect to play beside Ozil behind laczette or abyumang. Heβs a very good player but itβs just not worked out at utd
Aresnal fans wonβt be to concerned with Sanchez going if they get miki and aumbuyang in. Two very good signings

16th January 2018 at 9:37 pm #12793Chm-Yes I see that mate, but right now I would have Kane ahead of them all.I would have only signed young players, good thing I’m not a manager mate!

16th January 2018 at 9:44 pm #12794I don’t think if i will have Kane ahead of Suarez Maverick. I think Suarez is a class act both domestically and in Europe.

16th January 2018 at 10:21 pm #12796AnonymousSean – I think thatβs spot on. Heβll be great for us, should he sign. He improves us.
Miki is a strange one, has all the attributes but often passes the ball to nobody in particular. Great close control, can dribble and shoot. Love watching him when he is on form – as he was at the start of the season. Be interesting to see if he will leave as apparently we need to ship him out first.
Lots of clubs in for Sanchez now. Could well end up at Chelsea, but iβm sure arsenal would prefer any other destination than letting him stay in London outside of the Emirates.

17th January 2018 at 8:02 am #12804Iβll be hugely suprised if he doesnβt go to utd now Alfie.
They say miki is the key to the deal and if I was Wenger Iβd do the deal.

17th January 2018 at 9:12 am #12806AnonymousI think itβs more a case of Miki not wanting to join Arsenal.
The deal makes sense for Arsenal, whilst not a great one, but they are not in a great position. Great deal for us though if it is a straight swap.

17th January 2018 at 9:14 am #12807Personally i would prefer if Sanchez joins United over City. if he joins United, then he will make little difference and United like us need a rebuilding. i would be worried if he joins this City side. it would make what was a difficulty in toppling them even harder. because City will create loads of chances and he will finish. so i’m a little bit happier with him joining the lesser devil in United than City. that is my personal opinion, United fans will have their say. but for him to join City will be bad for the league.

17th January 2018 at 9:36 am #12809I disagree cm. I think he will make a huge difference to utd. Pace, aggression and goals. Great player
He would make a huge difference for any team

Just compare that with him joining City and playing alongside KDB and Silva? United aren’t as creative as City. that is why i said the lesser devil.

17th January 2018 at 10:17 am #12812AnonymousChelsea man – if he does end up Utd, Utd have closed the gap a bit to City and widened it for those below.
He is a massive improvement for Utd. That surely makes things harder for those below Utd in the league?
If he ends up at Chelsea then the same applies there. Heβd have narrowed the gap between you and those above you. Same for Liverpool.

17th January 2018 at 10:33 am #12816CHM-If I was in charge of a club,I would have adopted the policy of Ajax FC! A conveyor-belt of talent every year, producing world-class footballers every season.

I’m talking about the impact he may have on United. he will have an impact. but still united need another creative to player to complement him, Pogba and Lukaku. whereas if he goes to City, he will be playing alongside Aguero one of the deadliest finishers, KDB the most creative midfielder in the league, Silva the best passer in the league. on the other flank Rahim Sterling is having a stellar season. if you are among the chasing pack, and you harbour the ambition to win the league. you would not want him to join City. this season City is on another level, and getting Sanchez will make the job for the chasing pack even more harder. he will improve United and Chelsea. but will not take them above City. whether City can maintain their standard is another matter though.

17th January 2018 at 11:22 am #12822If he wants Prem medal this year and very probably next year then he goes to City, if he wants the lesser chance of winning one next year then he goes to YooUtd… simples as dimples… he’s getting a boat load of cash either way.
