I see a few reports YooUtd are doing their best to throw a spanner in the works of Dirty Sanchez’s move to City… Conte should chuck in an offer to really make it interesting I reckon.

11th January 2018 at 2:10 pm #12058Or possibly Arsenal trying to bid up the asking price!
Can’t really see Sanchez as the best replacement for Fellaini?

11th January 2018 at 8:07 pm #12100Well if he wants just more money he may well move to United. Report’s are his agent has met United representatives. Seems to be touting to the highest bidder possibly. My how times have changed.

11th January 2018 at 8:43 pm #12103Utd play conservative football and city play good attacking football. City are the much better side at the moment but money talks
He be a brilliant signing for either team

11th January 2018 at 9:19 pm #12109Ok if Sanchez turns down City, although it may look strange. i will understand his reasons. let us say this you can’t base all of his decisions on money alone. money is one key factor but there are other factors. City has Sterling Aguero and Jesus, plus Sane and Bernado Silva. so his chances of featuring week in week out is not guaranteed. while on the other hand at United he will have the chance to feature week in week out, Lukaku will start, but neither Rashford nor Martial will pose greater threat to him than Raheem Sterling and Sane. once Jesus is fit. may be he has seen Aguero couldn’t feature every week. i still think Sachnez is better at where he is currently. because he is the talisman at Arsenal. and Arsenal suits more than City or United. Didn’t Arsenal offer him Β£300k a week? there are other factors that are driving this move. in an ideal world he should be joining City and picking up a PL medal without working hard. but if he opts for United, Arsenal should demand Martial if possible, even Mkhitariyan isn’t a bad option.

11th January 2018 at 9:57 pm #12111CM you forgot to mention that Sanchez is a foot too short for Mourinihos tactics. If he goes to United it’s purely for money. Tbh I never thought I would say that but that’s the truth in the matter. I believe next season our team will be stronger still. We havent missed him so far its only if Aguero gets injured and tbe news leaked about Jesus possibly returning sooner. Coincidentally lol.

Yes you are right, historically Mourinho likes 6ft players in his team. but he Had Hazard at Chelsea, Di Maria at Realmadrid, sneijder at Inter. so there is no surprise that he wil go for Sanchez. usually his teams are very compact and play tight at the back and midfield. which means he relies on individual brilliance to unlock the opposition. Ronaldo did that at Madrid, Hazard did that for him at Chelsea and sneijder did that for him at Inter. and he wants Sanchez to do that at United. i don’t think money alone could be a factor. i agree with you, he will demand crazy money which only United and PSG could meet.

11th January 2018 at 11:07 pm #12117I think grudgingly i would agree with Pep being the best currently. he is a league of his won this season as a manager. but i dispute with the notion that City is the best team in Europe right now. there are a few teams who will have their say in that. Barcelona, PSG, Bayern and Juventus will have their say. City is the best team in the Premier league, there is no dispute in to that.

11th January 2018 at 11:51 pm #12120Haha was waiting for someone to bite on that one. Obviously based on current form Mav, care to suggest a better team based on current form. All the teams CM mentions have worse domestic records than City so far this season and they are in arguably less competitive leagues. But just wait till we lose 0-3 this Sunday and the red tops will be all predicting our demise.

12th January 2018 at 12:15 am #12126I don’t think Sanchez will be poor going to City. He knows Pep and imo has already made up his mind that is where he wants to go and at 30 next birthday imo it will be more about winning trophies than the money and currently City give him the best chance of doing that.

12th January 2018 at 12:19 am #12127Nothing surprises me with footballers these days Nine when it comes to money. Sure it’s just a job to them but it’s an obsession and way of life to the fans. Jim

12th January 2018 at 8:26 am #12139Sane looks like he needs a rest. Heβs dropped off a bit in last few weeks. Jesus is injured. Sanchez would get plenty of time at city
I think he would do really well at utd aswell. Heβs a great player. He would do well anywhere
