Nil-JC is a 40 year old man m8,what he did borders on assault! He should be prosecuted for that, not just sacked apology or not.Nothing to do with the fact he was a Liverpool player!

16th March 2018 at 10:50 am #18144Nil-When it comes to the truth mate we HAVE to be sheep.Surely you are not being so naive as to be convinced by that thugs apology m8? He had no choice over it,Sky forced him to apologise! Hope to never see his ugly mug again.Even J.Barton had a go @ him ffs, lol.Only J.Terry,Giggs, and Jordan are left from the people of moral high ground to have their say, hehehe.

16th March 2018 at 12:21 pm #18153Mav, I agree in majority with those points mate, 10;50.
I’m not making a reference to this forum, but from what I read, listen and see outside it. I agree, from a society and moral point of view, he should be prosecuted or at least be dealt with by the law.
Whether or not he was forced to ‘save face’, I believe he is genuinely remorseful and that something underlying was waiting to be spilled, but he held on.
My problem is what you’ve outlined; some people just being plain abrupt and quick to put the man in the cell and throw away the key, so to speak. And it’s from those who are no glowing character references themselves.

16th March 2018 at 1:47 pm #18156Nil, come on mate Carragher was caught red handed and this is not the first time he’s been caught up in anger issues.
Of course Carragher was remorseful he was trying to save his Β£1m pa job and it looks like he was successful.
It’s not defendable mate and all best left there now Sky have taken their decision.

16th March 2018 at 2:36 pm #18164Anonymousnil – carragher spat in the face of a 14 year old. technically what he did was assaulting a minor. he was caught on camera doing it. he said what he did was disgusting. he’s only sorry because he got caught.
when a west ham player got done for spitting, carragher said the following – “its vile, its disgusting and its an absolute disgrace. its one thing playing like that, playing as poorly as he did, but its another thing to go and spit at an opposition player. its now down to west ham to react and show the fans that, that type of behaviour’s not tolerated. its an absolute disgrace.”
carragher isn’t a saint and this isn’t the first time he got himself in trouble.
i really do commend you in your attempt to be different and see the good in someone that does this but sometimes you just have to accept you are wrong.

16th March 2018 at 2:41 pm #18165Nine, what is actually ‘come on mate’ about it?
I really don’t like to repeat myself and re this thread, I’m going in one direction, others choose to go there own and that’s fine by me.
You sound like you’re being persuasive.
I’ve condemned him, but I’m not going to react like others have done and I watching that footage of Sky made me feel sympathy towards.
Adding to that, I don’t like how others have reacted in the way they have and some of the examples coming out of their box, like Joey Barton.
Anyway, I’m not wanting to revisit this over again, and that’s it as far as it goes from my part.

16th March 2018 at 2:44 pm #18167Pax, just seen your reply mate, and agree with the last line.
In a bit of a hurry now mate, but one example I wanted to bring in from years back was the treatment Becks received when he was sent off against Necaxa and it seemed the whole world was against him and that actually had an effect on me to show sympathy and support towards him, 1999-2000.

16th March 2018 at 3:03 pm #18168Nil, ” Anyway, Iβm not wanting to revisit this over again, and thatβs it as far as it goes from my part.” The right decision mate and it’s all done and dusted now anyway. All best left there. Cheers 999
