Interesting article, but not in the way I think Master Rodwell is thinking. On one hand, if Sunderland are dumb enough to give him the contract that they have, why should he walk away from 70K a week with nothing else lined up? On the other hand, if it isn’t about the money as he claims, then surely walk away and volunteer to trail with however fancies the gamble?

Fully suspect he’ll still be there come February…

Either way, there’s nothing wrong with is ego, talking about making back to the Engerland squad!?!?!?!!?
