In my opinion both Ferguson and Klopp status were not high when they arrived at Manchester United and Liverpool. They were under a lot of pressure to deliver. Ferguson made some brave decisions too. He got rid of Strachan and anyone else he felt was disruptive durin this early years. Same with Klopp when it came to Sakho.

When I think of Fergie it was more dealing with Beckham, Stam, Ince etc. Can’t remember further back to be honest.
When Klopp arrived I’d say he was still of a pretty high status having won two Bundesliga and a CL final appearance. Obviously not as high as now but still…
We don’t know what is going on in the dressing room, if it’s split, if Ten Hag has the support or Sancho etc. It may not be as easy as saying Ten Hag should just get rid of these players, maybe his bosses think actually might be easier just to get rid of him. Lots of variables we don’t know about.

No adlab,just really poor we’re we struggled againest a low block team. Two games in a row now we’re we have been dreadful againest teams who sit in.

Was at work y’day so missed the game. In the grand scheme of things we’re in a good position and still top of our group despite the defeat. Lots of changes and we did well almost to come back.
20 years ago that Macca ‘handball’ would have passed. Today, it won’t. What I really resent is for the play to continue and then manifest into something only for it to then grind to a halt or effectively wiped out by officials.
I know VAR needs time which is fine, but why allow in the meantime the game to continue? You’re just leaving yourself open to potential complications should other incidents take place.
Bit tired of speaking of VAR now to be straight-forward. More damage than goodness.

Just reading that the VAR offical who gave the pen has been stood down. Fair enough, but then are they really saying that Eriksens fingernail handball against Bayern was an actual pen? They cannot be.
Whole lot needs to go in the bin and start again.

Alfie, I’ve heard there isn’t a great deal to it from the equipment they use. Apparently though, there’s a few people and there’s different conclusions transmitted. I just dont get the ones used and discussed on tv nearly or is citing what really should be, and yet the facility designed specially to sort this is in fact amplifying the problem. Not sure at this point whether clubs that have been wronged think whether its worthwhile in lodging complaints.
