I don’t know whether it’s because of the reason warm weather we’ve had (not complaining by a long chalk :-)) or from my own team’s recent league result but something just feels as though it’s fizzled out, and just as a result losing interest in the game.
I’m actually more interested in my work (makes a change!) and other things like painting, spring cleaning, buying a new car and women than football at the moment.
The Champions League Final is a while away as of the World Cup.
Not able to pin-point what it is to unearth, but just feel downbeat when it comes to football as the things that do appeal to me are not found on here e.g. Wenger’s sending off, and just in general, other football related topics.
Ironically too, I turned down the opportunity to watch Arsenal tonight at Leicester, live – just didn’t appeal to me. Maybe it’s more of a Leicester City thing I don’t know.

Thats the way to go Nil bruv, especially women and buying a new car.But your team has the CL final to look froward to,plus the top4 place is in their hands too fella.

9th May 2018 at 9:21 pm #21501Mav, total respect as ever mate.
If it wasn’t for you, and a small handful of other Posters, that’s me done as in relation from experience of 3 different websites over a 10 year period, I’m tired of reading the same thoughts/opinions from the same people, whilst our rival teams have cruised effectively in winning trophy after trophy – Chelsea especially – 6 League Titles.
Just thinking deep; from a Liverpool Supporters Point Of View, stopping Manchester United’s dominance.
10, 12 years of pain, and that of which I have suffered from resigning on Teamtalk and I just see more and more, less admiration and support for Arsenal.
My problem is demographics and irrespective of any website I’ve committed to, that has often been a bit of an obstacle in my view.
Cheers

10th May 2018 at 10:06 pm #21515AnonymousNil, you’ve got to stop dwelling on the past man. Who cares that Chelsea won X amount of titles, it’s in the past and it’s kinda disrespectful to be going on like this while we sit above them in the league and are going to be appearing in the final of the CL. Chelsea fans are only people who love the game, like you and I.

11th May 2018 at 3:44 pm #21541newbalance…go and watch a ladies match…the nearest thing to what football used to be like before all the diving, arguing with refs anything but getting on with the game. In the games I have watched the quality is very good, constant play. If you are like me in so far as the World Cup does not interest you then just thing its only a couple of month before the pre season friendlies and new faces arriving and old ones going with you team

11th May 2018 at 4:15 pm #21543Brian, thanks for the reply. Since those opening thoughts, I’ve had a change of good fortunes regarding my work meaning better prospects, and now more of a firm decent future making me feel a lot happier and something to feel excited about.
As far as Football goes, it’s just counting down the days for the Champions League final.
One thing regarding my club that would really make me happy is to buy two top class players in the summer, a couple of squad players and really put an assault on the title next season.
I do at the back of my mind get what a few of my fellow reds fans feel that there’s a setback waiting round the corner, so some change of fortunes to strengthen us with a trophy would make us feel a lot more self-assured.
Cheers
