jim – i dont just mean rumours or paper talk. i mean the radio shows and tv broadcasting constantly saying kane should leave and doing phone ins about why would he stay at spurs. its become a daily feature. like you guys they constantly bang on about how he can triple his wages. why cant people just let him get on with his game and develop. kane is the best english footballer around at the moment and all they want to do is unsettle him. if they get what they want and manage to unsettle him, his performances will drop and he’ll become public enemy number one. if he goes to madrid and flops for what ever reason they’ll say he never shouldve left spurs and just went for the money. rumours about spurs players (or any players) isnt a new thing but they really seem to be gunning to get kane to leave spurs. it seems to have worked with alli and they’ve started with alderweireld. only a matter of time before they do it to the rest of the squad.

12th October 2017 at 11:17 am #6001Paxton, I honestly hadnt noticed that but I’m not a Spurs fan. Clearly what is said on this forum makes no difference to Spurs or Kane. He is a great player and FWIW I hope he stays at Spurs. City won’t be interested in him as he isn’t 5-7 tall! Lol. Doesn’t fit Peps style of play.

12th October 2017 at 11:25 am #6002FWIW? Is that good or bad? 🙂
I think most Spud-lovers would be quite happy if he followed the Hoodle-road (apart from the bullocks religious nonsense), namely spend most of his career with the and then pop off overseas for a few years. Got no problem with that… just have the problem with everybody banging on about he should leave now and “triple” his wages nonsense. I’m just a hopeless romantic!

12th October 2017 at 1:37 pm #6003banjo, if you take your Spurs tinted specs off mate there’s a lot more chance of Kane winning the Champions League at Real Madrid than there is at Spurs.
Kane could see the whole of his career out at Spurs and still never win the Champions League or the PL.
Spurs biggest problem is their wage structure and players join up with international squads and hear from their pals in those squads that they are all earning considerably more than the Spurs players. Ultimately the top Spurs players will agitate for better wages or to move on and this has started at Spurs already.
If Spurs lose some of their top players because of the above ultimately it may cost them Kane too.

12th October 2017 at 2:29 pm #6005Jim-Tbh I can understand the Spurs fans reacting this way,as the difference between Kane and Aguero is huge.HK is 24 with his best years ahead of him,the other is almost 30 and his best years behind him-NOW I mean.

12th October 2017 at 3:02 pm #6009Of course it does,HK right now is the best striker in the PL anyway.Just hope this rumour of United offering £170m for Kane is rubbish!.Real Madrid/PSG can do whatever they want.

12th October 2017 at 6:25 pm #6013Maverick tbh I don’t see any difference. Five years difference in age give a month I have just checked. But as Brian says what has age got to do with it. Aguero is being constantly linked with other clubs. The same as Kane. Aguero is just as important to us as Kane is to Spurs. Fwiw I don’t see Kane going to United certainly not under Mouriniho as he ijsut isnt as attacking as Pep or more importantly for united Fergusson as he plays one up front and also has Rashford and Martial on top of his main Striker Lukaku. Can’t see Kane playing second fiddle. Just paper talk. Jim

12th October 2017 at 6:55 pm #6014I can’t see Kane playing for any other PL team if he goes it will be to one of Real, PSG or Barca for a lot for money.

12th October 2017 at 9:43 pm #6020Jim-But Aguero`s best days/years are behind him, where HK is 24 and his best days/years ahead of him.City could easy replace Kun,Spurs would struggle big-time finding a adequate replacement for HK.

12th October 2017 at 9:54 pm #6022Easy replace Aguero. With who? Who else scores goals like he does ? The only person who comes close to Agueros goals per minute ration is Kane. He’s the best there is and has ever been at sticking the ball in the net in the PL.

12th October 2017 at 11:18 pm #6024No I meant money-wise,City will not struggle to just pay say £200m,whereas Spurs would!.We all know there aren’t any world class strikers out there available, the likes of Lewandovski, Suarez,Cavani, Benzema, PEA,all close to past their best.

13th October 2017 at 5:02 am #6026Big J, you quite rightly point out the facts regarding the goals per minutes between Kane & Kun, would just like to point this out as being a little skewed when you consider Kun was bought to city when he was almost the finished article, whereas Kane minutes include his learning process…. unless of course, your minutes per goal numbers both start at the same point in both careers, in which case I’ll apologize now.

13th October 2017 at 5:15 am #6027According to Wikipedia, club games only (assuming all appearances were 90 minutes which I’m sure we can both agree is unlikely!)….and these numbers also include all of Harry’s “loan” spells…
KUN: 416 games & 225 goals = 166 minus per goal…
KANE: 176 games & 98 goals = 161 minutes per goal…._____________________________

13th October 2017 at 7:17 am #6028Premier league Banjo. Kun a goal every 108mins Kane 119mins. As of the end of September 2017. Small point but the issue was to do with maverick who said Aguero could be easily replaced. I just don’t think so.
But both are fantastic players, albeit slightly different.

13th October 2017 at 7:36 am #6030Big J… now you’re loading the stats to suit your argument my cyber chum… little bit unfair methinks.. 🙂
But yes, both are great players, although very different, I wonder what chaos they could get up to together in a more traditional 4-4-2 set-up…
