Next year or 2 players like Benzema,Suarez,Cavani,Lewandovski, will all be on their way out/.I can see Kane-if he continues to improve/score,to be a replacement for one of them, most probably/likely Benzema @ Real Madrid!.Talk of a £200m bid being prepared anyway, and who would begrudge him a move to the biggest football club in the world anyway!.

5th October 2017 at 4:38 pm #5834He’d be crap in away matches then!
So he was injured for a spell last season, was he? Sorry, I didn’t recall that. Great player though.

5th October 2017 at 4:47 pm #5837It was two separate ankle injuries (the same ankle though!), each about a month if I remember correctly and he missed 8 Prem games in total, along with 3 in the group stages of the CL… and probably a few cup games too!
Maverick… calm down son, Harry’s not going anywhere for at least another 2 seasons.. if he goes at all! Wish you monkeys would stop packing his bags for him!! 🙂

5th October 2017 at 5:49 pm #5839Brian, I may well be falling into that trap. He’s probably not injured as often as I seem to think. Aguero is a marvellous player. For me, probably the most talented player in the league.
The only reason I mentioned his fitness record was that it was the only thing I could think of which ever so slightly, in my opinion, puts him behind the likes of Kane. If both were the same age and had the same luck with injuries, I’d pick Aguero every single time.

5th October 2017 at 6:47 pm #5843Aguero is older than Kane so possibly a little more injury prone. I would say their styles of play are slightly different aswell. In so far as Aguero can turn defenders very close to them and hence let’s fouled a lot in a game. Some of his injuries have been down to defenders just hacking him. Besic of Everton took him out with a cynical foul at the Etihad a couple of seasons ago and he was out for the best part of 2 months.

5th October 2017 at 7:27 pm #5844Paxton-Lol,would he be able to score any goals then?
Banjo-I agree, can see Kane staying another 2 seasons @ Spurs, but if you fail t win big,PL or the CL,he could/should be off!.No offence Belinda, but Real Madrid or Spurs?!_____________________________

5th October 2017 at 8:16 pm #5846Brian Blue, sorry, just seen your reply now.
Against the other clubs mentioned, they realistically would have a better chance of signing him than us. It would be very flattering if he did chose us and I’d welcome Kane with open arms.
We are devoid now of a striker and the goals are drying up!

6th October 2017 at 9:06 pm #5868Kane won’t play for another PL club imo. If he moves it will be to a top Spanish club like Bale did and for an awful lot of Money probably circa £200m and in the PL only the Manchester clubs could afford that.

7th October 2017 at 3:34 pm #5880banjo, I think you’ll do well to get another couple of seasons out of Kane he’s already suggested this week he’s open to considering other opportunities abroad.

7th October 2017 at 4:37 pm #5882Delli Ali is on £50k a week. Who has leaked this? Either his agent or Ali himself. Levy would not have surely?

7th October 2017 at 5:06 pm #5883Goldie… granted, nobody has got a crystal ball, and if you actually read what he actually said, he trotted out the bog-standard “who know’s what is going to happen in a few years from now”…. as much as you monkeys want to help him pack his socks, you going to have to be patient!

7th October 2017 at 5:31 pm #5885I don’t care either way mate but if Kane wants to be the player he aspires to be and wants to win League titles and the Champions League he’s far more likely to do that at Real Madrid than Spurs. In fact he’s far more likely to do that at City or United than Spurs but even at £200m that might be too much for even Levy to countenance.

7th October 2017 at 5:39 pm #5887You know what Goldie, when Kane picks up Big-ears wearing a Spud shirt, you’ll remember this post! 🙂
On a vaguely more serious note, I never did understand this logic that ALL players are going to go running when Real, Barca, Munich or even YooUtd come calling. If this was the case, wouldn’t we all be fans of these clubs as the “force” is so strong? Maybe, just maybe, certain people aren’t fazed by this so-called superiority of these so-called super-clubs? Personally, I couldn’t really give a rats-arse what these so-called super-clubs do, and it does make me laugh when other people assume every player (players they do not know and have never meet!) are going to go running when they come calling…
Time will tell, of course, no doubt about that, but what was that phrase, something about assumptions being the brother of all fook-ups… or something like that… 🙂

7th October 2017 at 6:12 pm #5888Ha, ha banjo. I would first focus on the League title which hasn’t been won since 1961.?
“Players they don’t know and have never met” come on come clean banjo are you a personal friend of Kane’s and have the inside track.?
Kane could well be another Matt le Tissier and credit to him if that’s how it all turns out there are very few one club players and Kudos to Kane if he settles for circa £100k pw at Spurs rather than circa £300k pw elsewhere and probably minor trophies for major trophies.

7th October 2017 at 9:08 pm #5890Banjo-999 is as usual is being polite in naming United as one of the teams, which should include Chelsea and Bayern instead!.But the truth is mate as you well know it,by just looking @ the likes of Modric and Bale mate, and see what they have achieved trophy-wise,plus the £300k p/w.
