7th March 2025 at 11:13 am #218813This league hasn’t failed to disappoint I think we can all agree from a competitiveness point of view and shocks and surprises.
Some of these fixtures appear of paper as ‘plain sailing’ but you just never know.

8th March 2025 at 5:29 pm #218816Phew. Chucks it does look like it’s coming home, but I’m not boasting for one second and that’s the truth. We were 1-0 down; players hadn’t properly got out of first gear until Saints scored.
You can never take for granted anything; If Gunners drop points out of Man U and Chelsea, then that’s looking like the the trophy’s coming home.
Mathematically just need 18 points from our remaining 9 games.

8th March 2025 at 5:37 pm #218817Think Van Dijk picked up an injury too towards the end, so hope it’s nothing too serious.

8th March 2025 at 9:48 pm #218818Observation picked up on from tonight’s match: nearly 31,000 in attendance from a capacity of 32,050 at Molineux. That is a thumbs up from an economic point of view in relation to tough cost of living.

9th March 2025 at 3:56 pm #218823Bournemouth will be kicking themselves, they weren’t great, but how shite were Spurs? Two points thrown away but the Cherries…
Or you could argue they shot themselves in the foot, as Spuds gave them soooo many chances to run away with it… don’t know any more…
Now, YooUtd vs Goonies… please, several punch-ups, red cards, and other nonsense please….

10th March 2025 at 6:12 am #218825How on earth are this Arsenal team the second best team the league has to offer? This has to be the worst season quality wise in the PL for as long as I can remember. Very reminiscent of the Leicester winning season when every one of the usual challengers had an off season at the same time. I saw something the other day about the quality of the league where someone asked if any of the top teams would beat their team from 5 or even 10 years ago. Iβm honestly not sure any of them would.

10th March 2025 at 7:53 am #218826I would agree with your last comment, but I also think some credit needs to be given to the more “traditional” mid-table sides who have really stepped their game up over the last 2-3 seasons… a few top teams have “dipped”, for sure, but a lot of teams have also improved…
The title race was over 3 months ago… but I’m loving the fact that we’ve got about 7 teams fighting out for the CL and other Euro places… certainly one of the more entertaining seasons for me.

10th March 2025 at 7:58 am #218827I mentioned it some time back, but I read an interesting article which was suggesting that, other than Pool, there isn’t a side in the Prem which contains many, if any, of their “all-time” Premiership 11 players… as you say, what members of the current Goonie, YooUtd, Spuds, 115, even the Bone-Saw-Boyz, would make their all-time Premiership 11?
Maybe Bruno from YooUtd? Maybe Sonny from Spuds (previous versions for sure, but not this seasons!)? Isak from Bone-Saw-Boyz? Can’t think of any from the Goonies or 115 teams…
Then you have Pool with Alison, DVD, Salah, TAA, Robertson all making a damn good shout to be in the Pool All-time 11….. that’s why they’re running away with it.

10th March 2025 at 8:03 am #218828And before anybody says Halland for the 115, I’d take Agureo any day of the week over him.

10th March 2025 at 9:57 am #218829Disagree with that ed.City going backwards is a huge surprise . One player has disrupted them along with aging playerβs. Their fix is to spend 200 m in jan
Bournemouth, villa, fulham, newcastle, brighton , palace , forest will give absolutely anyone a game. Much better then then the mid e clubs of ten years ago
Chelsea have spent a billion. Utd and city loads of money. Poorly run clubs making terrible decisions constantly
Everyone including myself thought slot would regress this team. He was totally written off and has done a remarkable job. The funniest comments are now he has inherited a good squad??? Amiron left sporting in unbelievable shape yet his successor was sacked 3 months later after
Slot has made subtle changes. He hasnt signed one big player. Now all your hear constantly is arsenal injuries and no centre forward. They spend 70 m on a left back and midfielder. Timber, zvchenko, tireny, kwior can all play left back. They sold niketh for 30m and never replaced them. Arsenals mistakes were made last summer. Not this jan. areta changed the style to a more pragmatic approach. Full concentration on corners and free kicks. Its maddness. Saka massive loss. What had martinelli done in years? Average player. Huge wages for sterling yet dont play him. Arsenal tv the most hilarious show going. Excuse after exude after excuse. Liverpool were 9 piints ahead of arsenal before anyone got injures and thats without alisson for two months.
This time last year liverpool beat forest with a midfield of joe gonez, bobby clark and macallaister. We challenged up to the 6th last game and won a cup when we were missing trent, alisson, salah, konate, robertson, jota, thiago and many more for huge chunks
Just excuses every where. Ref decisions, luck etc. look at your managers style of play.
Liverpool have beaten the champions of spaib, france, england and germany withiut conceding a goal. We have list one league game all season. We have had a bit of kuck which we have had duck all few years. Losing leagues by one point,3 huge decisions last season etc .
Ive gone off topic but my point Is im just hearing everything from poor league, injuries, var etc when Liverpool have been tye best team by a country mile and slot has surprised everyone. Unbelievable job.

10th March 2025 at 10:16 am #218830That has to be the smallest words to typo ratio Sean has ever written! Although appreciate the bit of kuck and duck all comment π
But fully agree. If, very big if, we win the CL rival fans will be saying the same about Europe too. It makes them feel better.

10th March 2025 at 10:32 am #21883121 7 lost only 1 all season
I’m starting to come round the thinking, it’s done. I can’t see the gunners win every game, and we only have 9 games left.
Better goal difference as well and we can afford to draw a few matches. Fulham and Spurs will be tricky but can see a Coronation as early as Easter Sunday or the first week of May when we meet Arsenal at Anfield.
Klopp will be making a welcome Return back to Merseyside π₯³π₯π―π«ππ»β½οΈπππ
