I think the way society is presented with all the technology and access, it’s a little challenging to remain a bit more carefree as a fan.

Before Man United Steamrolled us, Liverpool won plenty of First Division Titles that for us was our Holy Grail. Until the real late 90’s and 00s, looking back, I would re-live that life experience of the Radio, Final Score, the Ceefax/Teletext Pages and Match Of The Day.

Not that it should be perceived this way, but one becomes a victim of their own successes. Put on 12 wins, draw, and rather than “Ah Well”, it’s a full Post Mortem from a few Quarters. Not the way to Enjoy Life when 5 Titles have been won since 2014.

Many would Love to be in that position.
