Can’t say I’m not disappointed to ship a two goal lead. Brighton good value for their point unfortunately. Our old problem of not controlling games rears it’s head. Chelsea just keep winning, much to my disgust, and city only find themselves 2 points off us after a collapse today. Nothings ever easy is it.

A very satisfactory day for Chelsea, several things that haven’t clicked into gear recently have today clicked into gear. We went and won at St. James park, then our competitors have both dropped points at home. the Chelsea academy is still shinning, Reece James has two goals today, Connor Gallagher has one and an assit. Hodson Odoi has an assist as well. the only negatives from what is the perfect day is the performance of Kante. i’m a bit concerned about his perfomances of late. something is not right. also i would be suprised if Ziyech doesn’t go in Janaury. Tuchel is giving him chance after chance, but he cannot grab.
On the other hand, Barkley seems to be putting a good display every time Tuchel puts him on the pitch. now our wingbacks are doing the the trick for us. Chilwell has 3, Reece Jamaes has 4 and Alonso has 1. that is 8 goals coming from that department alone, and it’s filling the void left by the strikers. i have to say Chelsea’s biggest strength isn’t our starts, it’s our team work.

D Harry, 8-1-lost 1 is excellent and now 3 point cushion. But it’s still early days and as long as we’re in touching distance and challenging then that’s the upside.
We probably have to be honest with ourselves that we’re shipping goals we shouldn’t be against the teams who on paper we should be beating. We’ll have to take that medicine and look to tighten up. I think Tiago coming back may help us with ball retention which I feel is critical.

Ah Iβm not down at all nil mate. I didnβt get carried away after last week. We need to improve our game management and I said that a while ago. 3rd time we have met a two goal lead slip. We donβt look solid and havenβt all season. Alison had saved us many times but Iβm really enjoying the season
BRighton fully deserved a draw if not more today. Bad day at the office but we have done really well this season and we move on today
Ive fancied Chelsea a while now as they havenβt really dropped unexpected points and hsve the best defence. They are a serious team . Great day for them today so enjoy nine lucky and chums. Very good win for Chelsea lads
